This is a GLOBAL MELTDOWN!!! All over the world, governments are doing the same thing - that is printing more and more money and planning to spend their way out of the crisis. Massive stimulus programmes are being instigated, the toxic debts of the financial institutions are being swept up by the governments - they are acting as though there are no consequences to this type of behaviour. They are using 1930's methodologies to tackle 21st century problems. It's ridiculous. The burden will ultimately fall on the taxpayers. This is the effect of Pluto in Capricorn - there's always a certain desperation and obsessive energy connected with Pluto and the fact that Pluto is in the sign of Capricorn, means that governments around the world are going to try their best to keep the status quo.
Just today, Gordon Brown announced that this crisis is unprecedented and we could not look back at history for any answers. Great. So what are they doing? Just repeating history without any thought about the effect they are having on peoples' lives for the future. They have no blueprint to move forward.
Here's the way I see it. We started out with the sub-prime mortgage crisis in 2008 and the subsequent collapse of many banks and financial institutions. Since then, some huge retailers have gone bust: Sharper Image, Linens and More, Circuit City to name but a few. This is just the start. Yesterday over 75,000 job losses were announced. In one day! What you will be seeing will be an enormous collapse of the commercial real estate sector. This will be much bigger than the sub-prime crisis. Imagine all the empty buildings from the companies who are no longer in business. This is going to be huge. The civil unrest I am talking about here relates to the opposition of Saturn in Virgo and Uranus in Pisces. Saturn in Virgo relates to the workers who feel they are not being treated fairly, while the Uranus in Pisces means that drastic and sudden actions are taken that leave people reeling with shock. This is precisely what we are seeing around the world.
The US Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, is pretending that they are saving the banks in the name of national interest. They cannot save the banks - they are pouring all the toxic assets onto the taxpayers. The ship is sinking but lifeboats are only there for the wealthy. Every person is going to be much poorer in order to keep on enriching the elite few at the top. How can they justify taking over $18bn in bonuses during 2008 when leading so many financial institutions into bankruptcy??? It's shocking. And this is only the surface. We are not even seeing 10% of the extent of the greed, dishonesty and unethical behaviour. This is merely the beginning. Do you think that Bernard Madoff is the only one??? No way, he is one of many that have been found out so far. This is more of Pluto in Capricorn in action. Pluto unearths that which is dishonest, unhealthy and hidden - so be prepared for many more scams to be revealed. Remember, Pluto only went into Capricorn on November 26th 2008 - and it stays there for the next 16 years - so we are right at the very beginning of all this.
Already we are seeing the signs of unrest around the world: a million people striking in France this week, riots and demonstrations in Greece, Latvia, Russia, Iceland...Already in the US, they are training the military for riot control. The Arizona police force is training the police for riots and economic calamity.
Be assured that draconian measures will be taken by governments around the world. It could be a bank holiday, it could be confiscating gold, it could be anything - probably something totally unexpected - but it will definitely be something dramatic that will hurt the everyday person and again the rich will benefit.
The riots, demonstrations and sudden measures are all caused by Saturn in opposition to Uranus.
There will be bigger government, more intrusion, more spying. Crime will increase rapidly and there will be a growing underclass.
It is important to prepare for the worst: at least have a couple of weeks of water and food stored away, some gold, some weapons if you think it necessary as well.
Remember the banks might just close for a while - so make sure you have some cash on hand.
It doesn't cost anything to take protective measures.
Again, I tell you, I am not into doom and gloom, but I felt I had to write this blog urgently right now so that as many of you as possible can make preparations to protect yourselves.
For the future, we will have to come together much more: Jupiter in Aquarius close to Neptune in Aquarius during 2009 will bring idealistic attitudes and ideas to the table. People will start to think more about their immediate community and work out ways to help one another.
Yes, these are hard times, no question about that, but there will be many good outcomes once we are through all this.
Take care

Pluto in Capricorn - more predictions
Pluto moved into Capricorn on November 26th 2008 and stays there for the next 15-16 years. This is a new cycle we have moved into and already the effects of it are showing.
I predicted that it would mean a new way of looking at death, our old people and reincarnation.
Recently, the monarch of Luxemburg vetoed the decision of Parliament to legalise euthanasia. This was an amazing step, as he has no rights to do this. It shows, how this issue is coming to the forefront of activity in many countries. Add to this the fact that the BBC recently filmed the assisted suicide of Craig Ewitt - Live on Air. He had to go to Switzerland to do it legally - but it was shown on tv.
More of these events will be coming to the forefront in the months and years to come. There will be those that wish to keep the situation as it is and not help people to die who wish to - and those who wish to break out of this, and new legislation will be enforced in forward thinking countries. What you can expect is that there will be more interest in this subject and it will become more mainstream.
Also our understanding and interest in death and dying will increase. It will not be stuffed down and into the background out of fear, but it will come out more into the open. It will be a time for the wisdom (Capricorn) to be unearthed (Pluto) about reincarnation and the veil between the two worlds will be lifted. More and more people will be able to tune into the new vibrations that will show that there is really no end, but a continuation.
Our old people, who in the main are not treated very well in our communities will be the subject of much more concern. After all, the baby-boomers are soon reaching retirement age - and there will be so many of them - this will be an area of focus and there will be an opportunity to bring more fairness and equality into the system. Where there has been a lack of integrity, it will be brought into the open, and new structures can be put into place that serve both the old people and their families.
Exciting and interesting times ahead!

Mercury Retrograde - how to make the best of it
Mercury is still retrograde until the end of January 2009. The general effect of Mercury retrograde is annoyance. Little things go wrong and frustration emerges. Anything involving communications, verbal activity, technology and short trips can be affected.
Look how Obama fluffed his lines during his inauguration - that's an example of Mercury retrograde.
I went out and bought a new computer during Mercury retrograde - I can't believe I did it - not listening to my own words - but true to form, it has needed repairs, it's been in the shop, it's noisy - and I only wish I had waited until after the retrograde period!
Definition: three or four times a year, Mercury appears to turn around and go backwards in the sky for about 3-4 weeks. It isnt really going backwards - it's an optical illusion based upon the relative speeds and orbits of the Earth and Mercury around the Sun.
Think of riding in a fast car on the motorway which is passing a slower-moving car. The slower moving car appears to be moving backward, but it isn't really .It's just the relative speed and direction of the two cars that gives that illusion. Retrograde Mercury is similar to that.
What to avoid during Mercury retrograde:
signing legal documents
closing big deals
scheduling meetings to make a bit decision
It's a good time to:
do follow ups on a project already in motion
complete a project you had already started
research a new project thoroughly
catch up on paperwork
hold and information-sharing meeting
Recommendaions:
backup your hard drive before the retrograde
avoid installing new computer software during the retrograde
do needed repairs on machinery before the retrograde
Forthcoming retrogrades in 2009-2010:
May 7th-31st 2009
September 7th - 28th 2009
December 20th 2009 - January 14th 2010
Good luck!!!

A New World Currency - Astrological Predictions
One of the many things I love about the subject of Astrology, is that it can be applied not only on a personal level – to your health, your career, your finances, your relationships, but also to national and international events.
For the purposes of this blog, I have examined the natal charts of three countries in depth: the USA, the UK and Japan. I took a look at how their progressions and transits are affecting their currencies, their economies and what the perspective is for their future.
Let me begin by stating, that I predict that there will be a new world currency in the years to come. When this cycle is complete, the way we use and create money around the world will have changed completely. We will be in a totally new paradigm and the global arena of finance and economics will be transformed. How the new currency will ultimately come together, I cannot yet say, however, it could be a global currency – one for the whole world, it could be a mixture of three currencies coming together, for example, the USA, Europe and an Asian currency. Many talk about the Amero being introduced in the USA – to amalgamate the currencies of the US, Canada and Mexico. There are many possibilities. However, what is clear, is that the whole system needs to change dramatically and there will be a new world system of money.
In my view, there will need to be complementary currencies that are used in tandem with the national currencies. We are moving inexorably towards local communities, sustainability and local means of exchanging goods and services. Climate change, peak oil and the economic crisis are forcing us to think and act locally and to become more self-sufficient.
The USA has three planets in the second house of money one of which is Venus which rules the nation’s currency. During the next 5-7 years, transiting Pluto in Capricorn in the 8th house is making an opposition to natal Venus in Capricorn in the 2nd house. This is going to be a constant stress point over this time period with Pluto alternately opposing Venus and Jupiter. By 2014, transiting Pluto in Capricorn is in opposition to natal Sun in Cancer. All this activity is taking place in the two houses of money. Remember too, that natally, the USA has Pluto in Capricorn in the 9th house, so this transit is going to be particularly transformative. The greatest stress comes during the period of 2009-2015. With Pluto in opposition for this extended time period, there are going to be repeated challenges with respect to the US dollar and the way people earn their living.
Pluto means endings of situations and things that are past their “sell by” date. Pluto in the 8th house will unearth all situations pertaining to investments and money that have been hidden. Any unscrupulous dealings will come out into the open and Pluto in Capricorn can be very harsh in its judgment and actions where integrity has been compromised. You can expect to see many more financial debacles over the next several years. When the experts say that this crisis is half way through – don’t believe them. It has a long way to go yet and Pluto is going to unearth many more hidden scams and schemes. Pluto also encourages transformation, so don’t be surprised if month after month more and more is revealed. It is going to be shocking – even more shocking than it has been.
Leaders are going to have to come up with new solutions. Doing the same thing repeatedly and hoping for a different answer is just not going to work. The fact that Pluto in Capricorn is opposing the natal Venus in Cancer in the 2nd house, means that the very way that the people of the US sustain themselves will be under threat. Cancer rules food, medicine, health care and these are all areas that will be challenged. Capricorn rules the banking system, large corporations and governments. This will not be all doom and gloom, because although Pluto does destroy, it also makes space for the new to be born. However, in the meantime, it will be a rough ride for many.
By the end of October 2009, Saturn goes into Libra. In the US natal chart, Saturn is in Libra, and in December 2010, March 2011 and August-September 2011, it makes an exact conjunction with the natal Saturn of the USA. While this is happening, short cuts will not work. It means that hard work and dedication will be required in all fields. However, the fact that Saturn is exalted in Libra can also signify that if the US government and its leaders bring about justice for its people and doesn’t continue to rip them off, then Saturn in Libra has the possibility of bringing about a new stability and security for the country. However, as always with Saturn, whatever has not been done properly, or skimmed over, will have to be redone or it will not succeed.
In December 2009, transiting Uranus in Pisces in the 11th house is in direct opposition with natal Neptune in Virgo in the 5th house. This could well stimulate issues in the Middle East again, especially as Uranus rules Israel and the 11th house is associated with allies and friends. With Neptune in opposition, the USA may not see the issues clearly and may be forced to act in a crisis (Uranus).
In April 2011, transiting Uranus in Aries in the 11th house is square natal Venus in Cancer in the 2nd house. Once again, I see this as huge stress on the US dollar with unforeseen shocks and sudden events being the flavour of this difficult square. The US could be forced to change direction at this point with respect to their economy and financial position. Also at this time, natal Sun in Cancer in the 2nd house is square to transiting Saturn in Libra in the 5th house. This could mean some very hard lessons for the US and possibly a devaluation of its currency. The 5th house rules speculation and with Saturn there, it will not be a time for the US to be taking financial risks. It will be a time for tightening its belt, for frugality and for making best use of resources.
In October 2012, there are three important squares: transiting Uranus in Aries in the 11th house squaring natal Jupiter in the 2nd house in Cancer. Uranus in the 11th house can indicate uprisings and discontent by the people in connection with the financial and employment situation. Also, this square with Jupiter can indicate great loss of finances, or overspending that has to cease abruptly. The second square is the progressed Moon in Libra in the 5th house square natal Sun in Cancer in the 2nd house. Again, this is another indication that the economics of the country will come under even more strain. Finally, there is a square between progressed Sun in Pisces in the 10th house with natal Uranus in the 1st house in Gemini. This could indicate a strong pull between wanting to create a brand new paradigm and keeping the status quo within corporations and big business. The fact that progressed Sun is in Pisces could mean that the leaders have rose tinted glasses on and do not wish to see the situation clearly at all. The lead-up to October 2012 will be one of great upheaval and change.
The consistent aspect throughout this period up until 2014 is the opposition of Pluto in Capricorn to natal Sun, Jupiter and Venus in Cancer. It is like a relentless power struggle between keeping the banking system afloat in any way possible, to the ultimate detriment of the US dollar. No matter what the authorities try to do, anything that is unfair to the people in general will be destroyed (Saturn in Libra transiting 5th house). These are testing times for the US, but with the Uranus right on the Ascendant, it does have the ability to re-create itself time and again, and once it comes through this huge crisis, it will be renewed, reinvigorated and will play a leadership role in the new world currency.
Let’s move onto the situation in the UK. Natally, Uranus is at 28 degrees Sagittarius and Pluto made an exact conjunction with natal Uranus in September and October of 2008. This is the precise time in which the banking system in the UK came very close to collapsing. The government suddenly had to come up with huge bailout funds for failing financial institutions. Pluto in Capricorn is hovering between natal Uranus in Sagittarius and natal Sun in Capricorn for the next 5-6 years. This could indicate sudden shocks and also a complete transformation of the way in which the UK governs itself. Capricorn ruling structures, buildings, big business and government, will bring out into the open anything that is unethical and immoral and will insist on a new structure that has integrity and is for the good of all. Huge changes ahead for the UK. It’s not going to be easy, it will come through this a completely changed country.
In October 2009, transiting Saturn goes into Libra in the 6th house of work and employment. It is square to natal Uranus in the 9th house in Sagittarius. This could mean sudden and great loss of jobs. By November the progressed Moon in Virgo in the 6th house is square Uranus in the 9th house possibly signifying emotional pain with the loss of jobs and financial security. People will have to come up with new and creative ideas to survive the crisis. (Uranus). By April 2010, transiting Pluto in Capricorn is within a few degrees of the Midheaven indicating a possible change of government or leadership.
In the middle of 2016, natal Sun and Midheaven in Capricorn are in opposition to progressed Venus in Cancer crossing the IC. This will be the time that the Pound comes under extensive pressure. There will be significant changes in the way that people earn money, especially from home, fighting against the big corporations and business that will want the workers to go out and leave the home and family. There will be a pull between home and family and having to earn money and being out in the world. This could also be connected to the fact that the people will want sustainability, nurturing and nourishment (progressed Venus in Cancer on the IC, just going into the 4th house of home and family). Food supplies could be threatened and the people will want to protect what they have. There could be a move back to the land and earning income from the land. (progressed Venus in Cancer, 4th house).
Saturn in Sagittarius will be transiting the 8th house of investments, banking, insurance and financial institutions during 2016, before going into Capricorn and becoming conjunct with natal Sun in Capricorn in December 2018. This will be a period of upheaval, some hardships financially and also the opportunity to create new structures in the financial industry as a whole. The whole area will be pared down to its barest necessities. There will not be the expansionist actions taken in previous times. There could also be a move towards more right-wing politics and towards even more Big Brother systems in government. The next decade is certainly going to be transformative for the UK and I am optimistic that they will come through it better than ever. The spirit of the people is very strong and vibrant and they will knuckle under and do what it takes to survive.
Finally, let’s take a look at Japan. Right now, the aspects for Japan are quite benign in nature. Although they are feeling the credit crunch just like the rest of the world, their currency is strong relative to the US dollar and the Euro at the moment and they have already experienced deflation and a difficult economy for many years. However, by August 2009, transiting Neptune is conjunct natal Mercury in Aquarius in the 10th house and then Sun in Aquarius in the 10th house. Neptune is hovering over Sun and Mercury throughout the rest of 2009 and 2010 so you can expect some dissolving of existing structures in Japan. There will be some corruption in governmental and big business areas and also some confusion over the general direction of the country. Also, there is the possibility of a charismatic leader coming to the fore who can take Japan into the next stages of its growth. The fact that Jupiter is in Aquarius for the next year until January 2010, means that it is divinely protected for this period and will not undergo such a serious depression as the rest of the world.
Progressed Venus is in Taurus in the 12th house, so there is much going on behind the scenes with respect to finances, money and planning for the future. I would not be at all surprised if the Japanese government is in secret discussions with financial institutions and trying to work out ways to secure the future of their economy. Also, this will affect the health care too as the 12th house rules hospitals, laboratories and the exploration of new drugs. A cure for a serious illness could come out of Japan in the next few years that will make them a huge amount of money.
Around April of 2012 will be a serious time for Japan. Pluto will be transiting the 8th house of banking, insurance, investments and finance, so you can expect great changes to take place. Also, some past secrets will be revealed and corruption scandals will come out into the open. The fact that Pluto is squaring natal Venus in Aries in the 11th house indicates that this is the time that pressure will be put upon their currency. Transiting Uranus in Aries will also be conjunct natal Jupiter in Aries in the 11th house indicating shocks and changes to the Japanese Yen. It looks like there will be a period of calm before the storm. Between 2009 and 2011, Japan will muddle through and will not have too many serious challenges. However, by 2012, there will be a crisis period which will force Japan to move in a totally new direction both politically and economically.
In conclusion, all three countries are in for extreme turbulence and change over the next several years. The credit crisis is far from over. Anyone who claims that it will be over by next year is dreaming. We are just at the very beginning of it now in January 2009. Given that the USD is the reserve currency of the world, and the difficult aspects between the 2nd and 8th houses for the next 5 years, indicates that there will be huge transformational changes ahead for the US and the rest of the world. The UK’s banking system will be reformed and over the next 5-10 years, government structures will be vastly different. There is the risk of a turn to severe right wing politics to try to keep the status quo. Already many UK banks are nationalised, there is more serious talk of joining the Euro (nearly at parity with the UK Pound even now) and as the unemployment figures rise there could be severe civil unrest. Japan’s situation will not reach a peak for another 3-4 years, at which point it too will face a crisis of government and economy.
Given these progressions and transits, I reiterate that I see a new world currency emerging from these troubled times. The fact that we are now in the Age of Aquarius, money needs to become our servant and not our master. It is the humanitarian age where the gap between the haves and the have-nots diminishes and everyone gets a fair chance in the world. Out of this pain, shock and crisis, I see great opportunities for creating a new world that is less self-centred and focused primarily on the rich people, but a world which is more generous, caring and sustainable for the long-term good of our planet. Aquarius rules the air waves, and there will be creative new ideas that will catapult us forward into a brighter, better and more balanced world.
Remember, when new currency becomes a reality, you first heard about it here!!

Pisces Forecast 2009
Main themes: attaining your goals and dreams, turning points in career, work and relationships.
Pluto moved into Capricorn at the end of 2008 and is there for the next sixteen years. This is a compatible sign to Pisces so you will find that your energies flow more easily now. It is transiting your eleventh house of hopes, dreams, friendships – your goals are changing and your friends are changing too. Or at least the quality of your friendships are changing.
It will be another wild and crazy year for Pisces, as Uranus continues its transit through your sun sign until 2010. This brings both excitement and sudden, unexpected, events into your life. Saturn is in Virgo until the end of October 2009, which is in opposition to transiting Uranus, so this could be positive in terms of reaching a peak in your career, but it can also bring some anxiety about the future.
Plans will not unfold as you expect and this will require you to be very flexible, adapting quickly to new situations. New people, new responsibilities, new skills being learned, are all part of the positive things that you may experience. But the prospect of so many things happening that you did not anticipate can lead to moments of great stress and worry too. You don’t like to be forced to rush things in your life, and these events may make you feel hurried and pressured.
Jupiter is in Aquarius all through 2009, which is in your twelfth house of healing, charity, helping others and going inwards. This aligns with Neptune which brings hope, altruism and generosity. You may find yourself becoming involved with helping people in need, or helping within your community in some way. There could be creative work behind the scenes involving film, music, drama or painting. Jupiter moves into Pisces in 2010 and it is at this time you will find your success in the outer world. 2009 will be about the dreams and visions you see for yourself and the world, while in 2010 you can achieve what you want in the outer world.
There could be a turning point in your career. Something is changing, either because of new skills you are learning which make your work even more excellent, or due to circumstances outside of your control which force you to make changes in your work.
You may want to be careful about new offers proposed to you. They sound good and they may mean more income. But they also may involve a lot more work than you want to commit to. As far as financial matters, you may be feeling quite confused these days. Therefore, you may need to find a trusty financial advisor – someone you know is honest and won’t take advantage of you. All this is setting you up for 2010 which holds the promise of an even better year financially for you.
This can be a year of turning points in relationships as well. With Saturn in your seventh house of relationships until the end of October 2009, you may fall in love quickly, but you may fall out of love quickly this year. Long term relationships may encounter more than their usual share of crisis, and may become so difficult that you have no choice but to end them.
If you are in a long-term relationship, like marriage, then you may be feeling the urge to break free. This is a year where separation is possible. But you may be in great conflict about this, for a part of you doesn’t like to be alone. The fear of being along could compel you to try to make up and rekindle the love that was once there. But chances are it is over, and it is time for you to begin a new chapter in your life. Once you accept that, you will find you can meet some exciting people. But emotionally you may not be ready yet for a commitment or real intimacy. It may take a while for you to get there, so be patient with yourself.
If you are single, this year can be filled with great fun and excitement. You can try things you never tried before and find them fascinating and adventurous.
You have to watch your health this year, especially for issues related to worry and stress. Meditation and relaxation can be very helpful, so will rides or walks through beautiful parts of nature. These things can calm your mind and inspire you to clearer thoughts.

Aquarius Forecast 2009
Main themes: opportunities for growth, success and recognition, compassion and charity.
Pluto moved into Capricorn on November 26th 2009 and is in your twelfth house of inner growth and reflection. It also rules compassion and love for others. There will be times of solitude and then times of going out into the world.
With Jupiter in your sign all year, this indicates a year in which your confidence will be high and you will be popular, well-liked and charismatic. For you the future looks very bright and you are optimistic about your prospects. Your circle of friends is very supportive and there are many opportunities to make new friends as well. It is a year of expansion in many areas of life, and you will enjoy it thoroughly. With Jupiter in your first house, there is a feeling of optimism and hope, even though those around you may not feel as you do. Some very important contacts will come into your life this year especially while the North Node is in Aquarius until August 2009.
In your career and finances, it is a year to move onto a bigger stage. If you currently have a job, you could be promoted and earn a greater income. If you don’t have a job, or wish to have a better paying job, this is the year to seek that out. If you work for yourself, this is the time to see your business grow in leaps and bounds. Your career looks great, but of course you have to do something to make it grow. It will not grow if you are not attentive. But just a little bit of attention and responsibility on your part can go a very long way this year. Best of all, you seem to make a lot of friends wherever you work. Everyone wants to be your friend, and through your social network, more and more offers and opportunities come to you. Some of these may involve travel to interesting places, but more importantly, you are earning money and seeing your career grow. As the year goes on, you become more and more responsible, so this upward direction in your professional life may continue for a couple of years if you want it to. This is especially true if your work involves creativity, imagination, music or helping others. It is also a good year for those involved in writing and marketing or advertising. You may even experience some fame and recognition for your creative work this year.
If there is any downside, it may have to do with saving money. As much as you can make, you can also spend. It would be wise to try and save some of your money this year. With Saturn in Virgo in your eighth house of joint finances, taxes, insurance and debt, this may also be a time of completions with financial ventures with other people. However, if you do save some money, it is also a good idea to reward yourself a little with something you would truly enjoy, like a wonderful vacation. When Saturn moves into Libra at the end of October 2009, your focus will be on education, teaching, media, and getting your ideas out into the world. Aquarius always wants to bring humanitarian causes to centre stage and when Saturn moves into Libra, a lot of what you are driving for will manifest in reality.
You are extremely popular and well-liked this year. Love has a way of finding you, and you don’t even have to look for it. If you are single, you could find your soul mate. There is one danger, however, and that is that you – or the partner- may be involved with another lover. If you are single and wish to be involved in more than one relationship, just remember to be honest and open with each. If you are involved with someone else who has another relationship, you may need to protect yourself emotionally against an unrealistic expectation as to where this relationship may be going. If you are married or in a committed relationship, make sure that you spend a lot of time with your partner doing things you both enjoy so much. The general trend for Aquarians is to experience great pleasure in love in 2009.
Your health should be good this year, however, watch out that you do not try to burn the candle at both ends. Try to get sufficient rest, for without it you could feel dizzy and light-headed. For personal relaxation, try meditation and music that you enjoy.

Capricorn Forecast 2009
Major themes: your life purpose and destiny, your self-confidence, making money.
Pluto has been in Sagittarius, the shadow side of Capricorn for the last thirteen years. On November 26th 2008, it moved into Capricorn where it will stay for the next sixteen years. For the last thirteen years, many Capricorns have been feeling inner changes. It’s as though you have been “on hold” and this could have caused you feelings of depression. However, Pluto is coming out of the shadows now and you are coming into your own power. This is a huge turning point in your life. Some Capricorns will already be feeling the changes, while others will take a little longer to come into their own. It is important for you to know, however, that you are now in one of the most self-empowering and transformative periods of your life.
Jupiter moved into Aquarius on January 5th 2009 aligning with Neptune in your second house of money. This is a great aspect for making money. Neptune dissolves old patterns and allows new ones to be created. For the last ten years you may have been feeling nervous about your business and financial security, but with Jupiter in your second house of money, it will give you the confidence to create new ways of earning money. From February 5th to March 14th, Mars is in Aquarius, so this will be the catalyst for the Jupiter (opportunities) and Neptune (dreams) to start working for you.
You will continue to experience great gains and success in your career. Whatever projects you take on, you have the ability and the vision to complete them in a way that commands respect and appreciation from others. You show that you are truly a professional by completing these projects with a sense of great responsibility. Your efforts also continue to lead to greater income, especially if you are in control of these projects.
Saturn, your ruling planet is currently transiting your ninth house in Virgo. This relates to learning, training and long-range plans. Your goals in life are changing. On the one hand, you have a sense of how great you could be if you really wanted to push yourself to the limit. There is no limit to what you could accomplish and the changes you could affect in your world, if you were willing to make this type of commitment to any effort. On the other hand, there is also a growing compulsion to retreat form the world, and to make your life simpler and less complex. This dynamic could result in major changes in your lifestyle. You are about to enter a period of self-transformation.
As you enter this period of self-reflection, you are also going through a period of self-discovery. This leads to very creative thoughts, and maybe some very exciting new business ideas. At the same time, you find you have a lot of strength and the ability to finish major projects this year. With Saturn moving into your tenth house of career at the end of October 2009, this could be a period of success through hard work in your career over the next two and a half years.
This year could go either way in relationships. If you are content, you relationships can be stable and normal. It is not overly exciting or boring. If you are not committed fully, then you may experience many peaks and valleys this year in love. Relationships work best for you if you are committed. Some of you will want to be alone now, as this gives you the time you need to delve into your inner self and discover who you really are and what you truly want out of life. Close and intimate relationships may distract you from your goals this year. The point is that you need love, but you also need distance. Can you find the right balance? If you do, then relationships will be successful for you.
You need to be careful of taking on too many responsibilities in 2009. You may need to learn to say “no” to the many requests others make of you. Otherwise without these boundaries, you create much stress, for you are a person who takes your work commitments seriously. Make sure you get your body checked out this year. Eat well and exercise regularly and make sure you put more fun and less work into your life, or health issues could surface.
