There is great unrest and uncertainty all around us. Earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, climate change, economic upheaval, political crises…the list goes on. We are seeing this on a global and national level and also on a personal level. More and more we are learning how to adapt to changes that we might never have anticipated. Aquarius by nature is an innovator and is driven to create a better future for all of us.
In your life you may be feeling stuck, knowing that you need to make changes, but you are too scared to make the move. Depending on where this Full Moon in Aquarius is occurring in your chart, will show you where changes are urgent and imminent. Some things just have to go in order to make way for the new.
This Full Moon in Aquarius will show you where you need to be more independent, more creative and more innovative in your life. Aquarius is all about breaking new ground, rebelling against the status quo, being an individual and yet wanting the best for everyone. It gives you an opportunity to take a more objective, analytical view of your life without so much emotionality. Prepare yourself for surprises and be ready to respond in new ways to different situations.
Good things to do:
Come up with new ideas
Have a brainstorming session with some other people
Be different

Be inspiring or go to an inspiring event, speaker, workshop
Meet up with different, off-beat people

Appreciate your freedom
Do some social networking

Questions to ask yourself:
What are my dreams telling me?
Do I allow myself full creative expression?
How can I connect more with others?
Am I open to having my world shaken up?
Can I be passionate without becoming possessive or too intense?
Can I be rational without being too detached and cool?
Where in my life do I need to break out and be wild and crazy?
How can I think more outside the box?
What is my sense of purpose?
What can I do for the good of all?
You may have been working assiduously towards changes in your life that are now beginning to come to fruition and yet you may be getting cold feet. With this Full Moon, take a breather and think carefully before you give up or move forward. This is a crossroads – a time of closing and opening doors. In my chart, this Full Moon falls in my 8th house. I’ll have to watch out that I am not being over-possessive about property or clinging onto things that are past their sell by date. It will also be a time to come up with new ideas for helping my clients take more control over their finances.
Maybe it’s falling in your fourth house of home and family. Is there something you haven’t wanted to look at that you’ve been avoiding in this area? Be ready for some surprises. For example, if you have been trying to sell a property without success, you may come up with a very creative idea for selling it quickly and easily. You may suddenly have a brainwave as to how to resolve a family issue that has been affecting you adversely.
Enjoy this Full Moon in Aquarius where you will have an opportunity to take a break from your emotions and look at your life in a more detached, unique and productive way.

Total Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in Sagittarius June 15th 2011
Total Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon at 24 degrees Sagittarius, June 15th 2011
This is a very powerful eclipse and is the longest we have had in the last seven years. The effects of this particular eclipse will be much longer lasting than the usual six months prior and six months after. Instead, I am anticipating that the effects will be with us for at least 18 months. Lunar eclipses bring emotions to the surface. This particular eclipse in Sagittarius will be about learning the truth as opposed to being told lies. We are seeing this on a global level with authorities reporting far lower levels of radiation from the Japan nuclear disaster than are actually being found. The same is true of the volcano that has erupted in Chile where there is a fissure that is six miles long and three miles wide. Christchurch New Zealand has experienced a swarm of earthquakes in the last two days with yet more destruction, weakening of the infrastructure and thousands more left homeless. Yet, the government is still saying “we will rebuild.” Discerning the difference between truth and lies will be a challenge for all of us in the next eighteen months to come. This will affect us globally, nationally and on a personal basis.
Sagittarius is all about a quest for truth, adventure, travel, faith and an optimistic future. It represents the higher mind, education and expansion and the Lunar Eclipse can bring great fulfillment, a dream come true, or the release of some very heavy baggage, or a big ending that makes the way for something new and exciting. Jupiter, the planet of good fortune and abundance rules Sagittarius, so this Full Moon in Sagittarius in your chart could bring some good news, a spiritual awakening or even a new and exciting vision for your future in that particular life area.
It’s a good time to:
Think about the future and how you can improve yourself and your knowledge
Publish a book or an article
Have an adventure
Go to a party or host a celebration
Plan a big trip somewhere you haven’t been before
Teach, train, coach
Tell the truth as you see it – no frills attached!
Focus on the big picture
Find ways of having fun
Find deeper meaning in your life
Do some personal development
Explore, experiment, experience
Surround yourself with people from totally different backgrounds and cultures to yourself
Find a mentor or someone who inspires you
Think about your beliefs and discard the ones that limit you
Do something outside in the open air
Think about the meaning of life and what your purpose is
See everything in a positive light
Find your own teacher within
Take up a new sport
Ignite your natural enthusiasm and passion
Tell or write an interesting story
Open yourself up to new experiences
Think about what you want and take steps to realise your dreams
Recognise and appreciate the abundance around you
Celebrate your life
Count your blessings
Try not to force your view or opinion on another person. Allow them to see the situation differently and you can “agree to disagree.” Look at areas in your life that you are judging others – become aware of when it is destructive and alienating people from your life. Seek more knowledge and wisdom.
Wherever it falls in your chart will be a time for growth and learning.
It falls in my 6th house of work and service, and I am planning to take my business onto a whole new level. A much wider level than ever before and whilst it feels like a leap of faith, it is also very exciting too. I shall be tackling some very big subject areas that I think are of interest to many people: e.g. 2012 – the end of the old world and the beginning of a new one? The Mayan Calendar, Atlantis, to name but a few. This will shine a light on the way in which I can bring astrology to people from far and wide, in new and exciting, expansive ways – so that we can share opinions, views, insights and ideas together. It pushes me out of my comfort zone and forces me to look at a bigger picture for the astrology and to be of service to people around the world. Sagittarius is the teacher and mentor and this is exactly what I am planning to do in the next few weeks. So this Full Moon and lunar eclipse is coming at a wonderful time and the energies of this configuration will help me to expand out quickly and effectively.
Where does this Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse fall in your chart? Maybe it’s in your fourth house of home and family. This could indicate at least a six month period or longer where you will find it challenging to find balance between your home life and your work life. You may move to another country as Sagittarius does rule long distance travel and moves. Or maybe it falls in your eleventh house of friends and dreams. This could mean that you make some wonderful new friends in the next few months, people who encourage you, who stretch you into new areas that you never thought you’d explore. Those friendships that you have that are limiting and constrictive may drop by the wayside to make way for more empowering relationships.

Full Moon in Leo - Time to Enjoy!!
This Full Moon in Leo falls at 29 degrees and it is in the sign of creativity, the child within you, the lover and the romantic. It’s all about you finding your unique self-expression, having fun, playing, following your dreams and bringing excitement and pleasure into your life.
It's a Great Time to: -
- Celebrate, play, have a party
- Do something really fun
- Plan an evening of games or go out dancing
- You might want to have a little flutter on the horses or on the lottery as Leo does rule gambling and speculation – just don’t take it seriously, see it as a bit of lighthearted fun
- It’s a good time for scouting out bargains in the sales
- Be generous to those you love
- Actively bring more romance into your life
- Plan a romantic day and focus on the things that you appreciate in your friends and the people you love
- Focus on what you love about yourself – don’t wait for appreciation from others, appreciate your great qualities
- If you don’t have a partner and you would like one, be clear about what your emotional needs are and set a clear intention to draw someone into your life who ticks the boxes
- Play like a child or have fun with children
- Ignite your creativity: it could be with music, art, theatre, writing, designing, or developing a hobby into a business
- Surround yourself with bright colours that uplift you e.g. reds, oranges, bright yellows
- Take pride in your appearance
- Promote yourself and your ideas in a new way. Think about where can you break free from old destructive behaviour patterns, what have you been putting off that you have always wanted to do?
- It’s a good time to get yourself organised – Leo loves to organise and boss everyone around, but are you organised enough in your life so that you can achieve your goals?
- Speak up for yourself – don’t allow yourself to be a doormat and communicate what is on your mind
While the Moon is in Leo, the Sun is in Aquarius and the Full Moon is all about achieving the balance between the two signs. Aquarius and Leo are all about balancing our personal needs with the desires of others.
Aquarius is connected to the 11th house of friends, communities, groups and all our social networks. That includes all the popular and growing social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, forums, online groups, as well as the friends we make through blogs, articles and websites.
Leo needs full on personal attention and needs to be appreciated. To fulfill the energies of this Full Moon, do something nice for a friend, a possible new friend, an old friend, or a group of friends. Even a small gesture such as a phone call, a lunch date, a tweet, a message, anything that says you’re important to me in my life, you’re my friend and I appreciate you in my life.
The Full Moon falls in my third house of teaching, promoting, networking and learning. It’s a great opportunity for me to share more articles, blogs, videos, cds, dvds, and to continue to express my excitement about astrology and how it can help people in all areas of their lives. I’ve got a lot of new and exciting things planned that I will be sharing!!

New Moon in Aquarius - what's great to do?
The worst thing you can possibly say to an Aquarian is “ you look just like someone I know…” They hate to be categorised with anyone else at all as they are individuals and therefore one-offs. Don’t lump them together. So in keeping with this energy of Aquarius, it’s time to be the unique individual that you are. Think about ways in which you really are different and don’t be afraid to speak out. My Aquarian friends sometimes make me hold my breath when I am out with them in public because you can never be quite sure what they will say because they don’t care what other people think. And of course, for a Libran who wants to keep everyone happy, an off the wall Aquarian comment can ruffle people’s feathers.
The New Moon at 13 degrees Aquarius on February 2nd 2011 is a time to begin new projects and thoughts for the coming month. This is especially timely as this New Moon brings in with it the start of the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit.
What does this mean for you and how can you make the best use of its energies? Here are some tips:
start thinking in new ways in order to solve your problems
think optimistically about the future for yourself and for mankind
set up a brainstorming session with a group of people and allow your imagination to run wild
see your life from a more detached perspective and don't get too caught up in your emotions or other people's dramas
learn how to put something together or how to make something new - this applies to anything electrical, technological or scientific
force yourself to go outside your comfort zone and try new experiences
join a group or organisation with which you share common goals and interests
Do something wild – something totally out of character
Dare to be different – you might want to dress differently, speak differently, do you work in a new way
Find new friends – reach out to different people – don’t judge people by their covers
Update yourself technologically – how to market yourself, become more familiar with social networks, update your equipment, update your knowledge
Ask yourself what you can do differently to have more satisfaction in your work and in your relationships
Try to think about what your future needs will be and then draw up a game plan for catering to them
Think about ways in which you help others in your community or even globally
For me, this New Moon falls into my 8th house which will encourage me to come up with new ways of helping and advising people with their financial situation. It’s vital to come up with out of the box thinking right now because the economic situation globally is changing so quickly and new strategies and thinking are needed to maneuver around the potential pitfalls in this volatile climate. It’s a great opportunity for me to bring innovative ideas into my business or even to incorporate a new business. With it being so close to my Part of Fortune, it could mean that some of the new projects I have been working on for a while will start to come to fruition.
The New Moon in Aquarius is experimental, liberated, adventurous, and focused on "the future."
On a personal level, your friendships, social and professional network, intellect, and imagination may receive considerable attention as you search for resources, information, viewpoints, and new possibilities to try and to incorporate into the way you approach your own life. It’s a great time for brainstorming, for trying out new things, for creating new ideas of your own.
You may also feel more impatient, volatile, abrupt, explosive, or "on edge" emotionally -- depending on how well you deal with a subliminal demand to be eccentric, radical, original, "unique," and totally fresh in the way you deal with your life now. In other words, the rebel inside you is not going to be quietly contained any longer.
You may feel a need to do something totally wild -- and very unlike you -- something that breaks the restraints and blasts you out of your rut into something different and challenging, some situation where being unique and willful is an asset and encourages a more liberated life. It's a time to kick loose, take some risks, leave your conservative ways behind and to let yourself see what something revolutionary and maybe even extreme might offer in adding spice and new opportunities to your life.

Is there a 13th sign of the zodiac??
Over the last couple of weeks, I have received many concerned emails, messages, texts and calls asking me about my take on the recent publicity hype about a 13th sign of the zodiac. I’ve decided to address some of these concerns so I can assure you that whatever sign you are has not changed.
Astrology is based on the seasons and the relationships between the planets and not what sign is located behind the Sun when you were born. The zodiac signs are symbols that divide the year into 12 different and equal parts. The Cardinal signs – Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, for example, always herald a new season no matter where you are in the world. For example, Aries heralds the start of spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn in the southern hemisphere.
We associate the cardinal signs with being leaders and catalysts for change – and they reflect that in the changing of our seasons. Then the fixed signs – Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius – are all in the middle of the season – when the time is more settled and routines and regularity can be established. Finally, we have the mutable signs – Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces – and these are the restless signs that need change and variety and they also represent learning – and they lead back into the Cardinal signs which indicate a whole change of season and direction. That’s why we are feeling such big changes globally and personally right now in the world because many of the major planets are moving into Cardinal signs. This means that the time for procrastination is over and it’s time for action.
Astrology was developed by the Babylonians and during that time, the constellation of Aries happened to be situated right behind the sign Aries during the spring equinox. The actual star constellations are astrologically irrelevant to modern astrology. It is vital never to equate the signs of the zodiac with fixed star constellations. Fixed star constellations are configurations of stars that can be seen in the sky. Sun signs cannot be seen in the sky as they are mathematical divisions of the annual path of the Sun in the sky of exactly 30 degree size for each of the 12 signs.
Astrologers have known about the 13th constellation for eons. In the second century BC, the renowned astrologer and astronomer Ptolemy was fully aware of precession of the equinoxes. Still, he decided to give up star constellations and to let the zodiac begin with 0 degrees Aries. He did this because he believed that the actual constellations of fixed stars were not relevant for astrology and that the sun signs should be fixed at the cardinal points of the Sun’s annual path.
Astrologers have incorporated the earth’s wobble into their understanding of the connection between the stars and life on earth. If you have ever heard about the Age of Aquarius you may also know that this follows the Age of Pisces which was preceded by the Age of Aries. The Ages go backwards to compensate for the earth’s wobble.
So I hope this explains it for those of you who are still questioning whether you are a different sign. Relax, and know that nothing has changed. If you are an Aries you have not suddenly become a Pisces – I mean, how can a full blooded Aries possibly think twice about jumping into something exciting and new?? Gemini has not slipped back into being a Taurus. My Gemini friend is married to a Taurus, and he isn’t suddenly rushing around, jumping into new projects with great enthusiasm. He is still taking his time with everything and she has days when she feels as though she is dragging a ball and chain with her….but at least he brings stability into her life.
Enjoy the sign that you are and find out the ways of making best use of its energies. Panic over!

New Moon in Capricorn January 4th 2011 and Solar Eclipse
On January 4th there is a New Moon in Capricorn and a Solar Eclipse. This gives the energy of the New Moon a turbo charge so if you can make best use of these energies, your life can move forward more quickly and more successfully.
The New Moon is a time of rebirth, a time when you can start fresh.
What does the New Moon in Capricorn mean?
It’s a good time to:
- set practical goals
- recognize your responsibilities
- prepare for the future e.g. plan for a possible disaster and have a survival strategy in place
- develop self-discipline and self-mastery
- consider how you use resources – are you wasting things? Could you be more frugal and careful?
- How can I be more effective?
- How can I master the lessons that life is trying to teach me?
- Where am I trying to take short cuts and it isn’t working for me?
- Be sensible, think things through before you take action
- Look at new ways of managing your time more effectively – Capricorn rules time
Try to be real, see what is truly going on around you. This is an opportunity for you to begin to live authentically. Capricorn is all about hard work, being responsible, purposeful, methodical and having a strategy.
Your professional accomplishments, public reputation, issues of career advancement will receive priority during this time. You might want to think about your image, how you can be respected in your field, how you can become more organized. Be cautious about what you commit to and make sure you deliver your work on time.
The New Moon signifies a start of a new personal cycle each month. It’s a great time to renew or revise your goals. Try and see the big picture of your life. Don’t set unrealistic personal goals. Don’t have too many goals at once. Try to take stock of what your abilities and interests are as well as any realistic constraints that you may face.
In my chart, the New Moon falls in my 6th house of work. I am in the process of putting together a brand new website, a new structure for my business.
This Eclipse is also in Capricorn, the sign of business, industry, organizations, and government. There will be more news about changes in corporations, banks, and financial institutions. Because this eclipse is in the earth sign of Capricorn we may hear of financial problems, recessions, drought, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other earth changes in the news.
Depending on the part of your chart that is activated we can see which part of your life will be most affected. If you are a Capricorn almost every part of you life will be affected, but all of us will feel a shift of some sort coming on.
If the eclipse falls in your 1st or 7th houses, you will be working on yourself and your relationships. If it is in the 2nd or 8th houses, you will be focused on your money, your earnings and your joint finances. If it is in the 3rd or 9th houses it could be a year of travel or educational pursuits. In the 4th or 10th houses, you will be focusing on your home and your career. If it is in the 5th or 11th houses it could centre around your children if you have any, or your business if you are self employed, and it can involve your community at large. If it is in your 6th or 12th houses it could be about your work, your health and your inner growth.
The key with this New Moon is to set yourself achievable goals and then take baby steps towards their accomplishment. Enjoy the New Moon in Capricorn!
