Full Moon in Taurus - What does it mean?

What’s the message of this Full Moon? - Get physical!!

Taurus is all about your senses, enjoying earthly pleasures, so this is a great time to give yourself something pleasurable – it could be a lovely hot bath with some nice smelling oils, a massage, a walk in the country, a trip to the beach, going out for a sumptuous meal, making home-made cakes, going around naked, having some unhurried time in the garden, sensual delights……anything that stimulates your senses is going to be heightened during this Full Moon in Taurus.

Taurus is an earth sign and is very physical and the Moon is Exalted in Taurus. This means that it is a great placement for the Moon as it can give full expression in a practical way to its emotions.

This Moon is ruled by Venus so it will involve your finances and your relationships in some way, especially your finances. Look at how well you are using resources and money. Are you building an enduring structure? Are there ways to draw on your natural gifts that can lead to financial abundance? This Full Moon will help to draw you in that direction.

Taurus very much wants a life that is warm, soft, comfortable, sensual, with beautiful surroundings, great music and art, colourful – all things that help to soothe and heal anxiety and worry. Taurus rules survival and therefore your security – personal security and global security. This is a time to face personal and national greed and selfishness. See if you can be more generous to others during this Full Moon to affirm your prosperity.

I have Moon in Taurus natally and it is in my 11th house. I am always conscious of security and it will be further triggered during the Full Moon. It’s important for me to take a look at my dreams and wishes – to see if they are realistic and can be accomplished. Or have I been too conservative in my projections? Am I playing it too safe? Where to I need to break out and experiment with new ideas and options? The 11th house is all about humanitarian exploits and I have started to help out at an old age home – just feeding the residents who are unable to feed themselves. This Full Moon in my 11th house forces me to look at how I can give more generously to those less fortunate than myself, not thinking so much about my own security, but focusing on other peoples’ survival needs.

If you know where this Full Moon falls in your chart, then you will see which area of your life will be activated.

If you don’t have your chart and you only know either your Sun Sign or your Rising sign:

If you are an Aries Sun or Ascendant, it will fall in your 2nd house.
Taurus Sun or Ascendant, in your 1st house
Gemini Sun or Ascendant, in your 12th house
Cancer Sun or Ascendant, in your 11th house
Leo Sun or Ascendant, in your 10th house
Virgo Sun or Ascendant, in your 9th house
Libra Sun or Ascendant, in your 8th house
Scorpio Sun or Ascendant, in your 7th house
Sagittarius Sun or Ascendant, in your 6th house
Capricorn Sun or Ascendant, in your 5th house
Aquarius Sun or Ascendant, in your 4th house
Pisces Sun or Ascendant, in your 3rd house

For example if you are a Sagittarius Sun or Ascendant it will fall in your 6th house of work and service. You may have some emotional issues to deal with at work, there may be financial problems that need to be resolved, you may find yourself giving to someone you work with and helping them in some way. This is also the house of health so it’s a great time to do something really positive for your physical body – have a massage, go out for a delicious meal, treat yourself to something you love, get some flowers, spend time in the garden if you enjoy gardening, just make sure you do something that makes you feel nourished.
