Cancer 2011 Horoscope Forecast

The first half of 2011 will probably be more challenging than the second half because the effects of the Cardinal Climax are still very much in play in your life. Everything in your life that is not working for you will be shaken up and you will get the chance to start anew.

Career and Money

You like stability in your career and your finances, but 2011 is not going to give you that luxury. You will not be lacking in opportunities, but you may find that the opportunities are not what you had hoped they would be. You need to learn how to get reality in line with your expectations. Overestimating your situation may plague you in the first half of the year. You want to be confident and optimistic, but try not to exaggerate anything.

This is a time where you may find it necessary to start over in your career direction. Your lifestyle may change which could be very positive. Your challenge is to find work that matches your talents and interests. Keep in mind that you are in the process of starting a new stage in your life and it may take a couple of years to sort it out. You may make a career decision that you have a few doubts about, but it may turn out to be a very good career choice. If at first you don’t like it, then try something else. You may have to do this a few times, but eventually you will get where you want to be. Try not to allow yourself to get too frustrated. Keep on persevering. Enjoy the journey rather than the destination.

With Saturn in your 4th house all year, this is going to mean you are feeling insecure about money and finance. Many of you may be feeling the pinch especially if you have had to move or downsize. You may have to take on more responsibilities with your family. Someone may need more of your help, your time, your energy or your money. It could be your children, your spouse, your partner or your extended family.

Some of you may find you lose your job, or you suddenly find a different job or that you move into a completely different field. Be ready to retrain in a different area. Be prepared for work to be erratic. Things will come and go. It will not be predictable. There could be some good opportunities but you will have to be quick off the mark. Don’t procrastinate too much.

Money will be erratic this year, at least for the first half of the year. There may be times when it comes in large amounts, but then there will be times when there may be very little. Make sure you are frugal and careful with your money when you have it. Don’t assume that money will be there for all your wants. As long as your needs are taken care of, that should be your priority. After the middle of June, your income may be more stable, and you will be able to make some bigger purchases if you want. Your friends and relatives may be helpful to you.

If you are in a relationship you may find that your mate has issues with money. You may find that you have to look after them financially. This would not be a good time to get into a business partnership. Take care that any assets you have are protected properly. If you are in a joint venture, make sure you have all your contracts and agreements clearly delineated and organised.

It could be a time for a move or a relocation of your job. This will be a jolt to your personal security but also holds the seeds of new beginnings and opportunities. Don’t be averse to moving out of state or to another country if the job or business opportunities look greater than where you are.

This is an area which will undergo huge changes this year. You want other people to be in tune with your needs, but you need to ensure you are in tune with their needs as well. For some of you it will mean some endings in your relationships. For others it will mean a total reevaluation of how you are in a relationship. Are you being too giving in a relationship? Is there a relationship in your life that really needs to end now? Are you around manipulative, controlling people? Does the form of a relationship need to change? Maybe you are in a friendship that could develop into an intimate relationship? Maybe you are in a relationship that should become a friendship? Something drastically will change in the way you view your relationships.

Some of you may find that you are alone. You may need that space in order to reevaluate your relationships. You may find that people come in and out of your life. You may have a heart wrenching relationship that goes to the soul level. You may need help with it as it may become an obsessive relationship where you cannot get this person out of your head. On the other hand it could be such a deep relationship in which you feel as though you are dying and being reborn.

If you have learned how to stick up for yourself and to be really strong in your relationships then you will feel greatly empowered and you will draw a completely different kind of person into your life. Someone who will be more nourishing and who will encourage you to be the best you can be.

If you are unattached, you may meet many interesting and attractive people this year. You will have charisma and magnetism, but the people you draw to you may only stay in your life for a short while. Make sure you don’t open your heart up too quickly, try to go slowly and see if this person can fulfill your emotional needs before you open up.

If you are already in a committed partnership and want to stay in the relationship, make sure you pay attention to your partner’s emotional needs and balance it with your own needs. Communication will be key – ensure that you talk as much as possible.

Your friends, pets and children will be a source of great comfort to you. They will be the ones to listen to you and give you sound advice about your love life.

From July to September when Venus and Mars are in your sign will be a great time for you to meet someone new for either a romance or a friendship. If you are looking for a relationship make sure you get out and about socially during these months.

With so much instability in your life you will need to learn how to deal with stress. You need to make time to relax and to have peaceful moments alone. Try to create a regular exercise routine – even if it’s only a regular walk every day, it will help with your stress levels. When you become over-emotional you put stress on your heart and on your digestive system. Avoid excesses in food and drink and take time out to meditate. There is no reason why you should have any physical issues this year. Keep in mind that it is your mental and emotional state which will dictate your level of health this year.

Gemini 2011 Horoscope Forecast

Gemini 2011

This year is going to be a mixed bag with a big focus on your work, your life purpose and how to bring more meaning into your life. Many of you will be completing up projects that you have started several years ago.

Career and Money
For those of you who work for yourselves already, or who have been thinking of working for yourselves this is a good year to put new structures in so that you can make the dreams you have for your own business a practical reality. This would not be a good year for speculation, to be trading on the stock markets and going in and out of deals. It is good year, however, for establishing your own business. If you own a business you are likely to experience growth this year. Friends may bring you business through referrals. This will lead to new clients or opportunities for increased sales. If you are a writer, this will be a particularly good year.

You will be learning many lessons about finances. You may decide that you want a simpler life and you don’t want to be driven to achieve more and more. You may decide to be grateful for what you have and from that gratitude, more resources will be made available to you. Be careful about any financial partnerships that you are involved with – this would not be a time to allow your partner to go into debt. In fact, it is not a good time for anything connected with debt. You may find yourself struggling with finances and you may need to choose between your needs and your wants. Maybe you need to sell something, maybe you need to move on.

New ideas and new offers will be coming your way. You will have to watch out that you don’t scatter your energies and then miss out on the really good opportunities. Your basic nature wants to jump on all the new offers, but you may need to finish up other projects before you are able to start on the new ones. You can do both as you are good at multi-tasking, but you will have to be very disciplined.

The first three months of the year might be quite chaotic. You may experience sudden events that take you off course. Or you may be feeling so restless that you cannot think straight. At this time you may be prone to having poor judgment in business, so take your time before getting into something. It’s much easier to get into something and say yes than it is to get out of something later on.

The big focus this year will be on your career and there will be ups and downs. For some of you it may mean temporary work, contract work, not being able to find a permanent position - even though you are looking for it. However there will be opportunities coming in. Make sure that you are not too busy to hear the opportunities as they come in – when someone is knocking at your door. These new opportunities will come from the most unlikely places and you might miss them. The window of opportunity is likely to be brief, so you will need to be on the ball and be quick. Try to be flexible and allow yourself to go with the flow.

You might meet someone in your work area – someone who may be very helpful to you, who may be a mentor to you, who may push you into your potential. Be ready for that too.

If you are in a committed relationship, it may go more smoothly, or at least without so much of the drama that you’ve experienced in the last few years. If you are not in a committed relationship, you may receive a serious proposal of marriage this year and the prospect of you settling down and having a family. You may end up with someone much older than you or with someone who has a great deal of experience. Be careful that you don’t end up with someone who is very controlling or dominating.

If you have children they may become more of a responsibility to you this year. However, you may also feel very proud of them. They may be completing important stages of their life – e.g. marriage, children, graduation etc., and you can be a big part of that.

From March 2011 you may find that your friends change. You need more excitement in your friendships and maybe some of them have got a bit stale and boring. You need to make an effort to bring new friends into your life. It might be time to join a new organisation or a new club, and to do something that you haven’t done before. It’s about expanding your horizons and meeting new people in different areas that you would never have met before. You will love the opportunity to meet all these new people. This will be the year to do it.

After June, maybe someone who has been in your life for many years and who has been supporting you will go out of your life. It will be a signal showing you that it’s time to let go and you can stand on your own two feet.

June and July are the peak months for relationships when Venus and Mars are in Gemini. This will be a great time for love, a new relationship, meeting someone new with whom you have a chemistry. It will be an especially good time for making new friends, networking and meeting up with existing friends for a coffee and a chat.

You will need to learn how to switch off and wind down as your nervous energy will be high. Remember to have a soothing hot drink, a massage, to meditate and to take time out. There will be so much going on this year that your nervous system could be affected, so try to catch things before they escalate into something more serious. A good diet – not a crazy one – and an exercise programme will result in plenty of energy for you to complete the large projects you will undertake this year.

Taurus 2011 Horoscope Forecast

Taurus 2011 Forecast

From June 4th 2011 until June 11th 2012, Jupiter, the planet of good fortune comes into your sign. This happens once every 12 years, so this is your year for some good fortune. The year may begin on a subdued note, but it will pick up pace as it goes along. Enjoy it!

Career and Money

This is a great year for expansion. If you have your own business, your sales should increase. If you work for others, there will be opportunities for advancement. This is a great year for negotiations where you will be able to pick up things inexpensively and sell them on for a great deal more money. It is a wonderful year to be self employed and to develop your entrepreneurial skills. If you don’t have a job and want one, now is the time to go out and apply for one. Try to spread you net wide and don’t just look in one area or in one particular location. The wider your net, the more chance you will have for success.

It may be a favourable year to enter into an agreement with another person. Make sure you know them and you can trust them and do ensure that you have any contracts or agreements checked over by lawyers before you make a commitment.

However, balanced against all this expansion is the fact that Saturn is in your house of work. You may find that your work ends suddenly and that you need to train in something else in order to find a new position. You may have challenges with your co workers and you may feel restricted in what you can and cannot do. If you employ people, you may need to make cutbacks. Saturn is about being realistic if the money isn’t there to cover salaries. You may undertake heavy responsibilities at work, you will be working very hard – maybe even harder for less money.

You are gradually changing your world view, the beliefs that you held, the things that were important to you – it could be your religious beliefs, your spiritual beliefs, it could be your understanding of the meaning of life. You will want to go deeper into an understanding of different cultures, different peoples, different places – the world, and even beyond the world as we know it – maybe into other planets, space travel, mind travel. You will be looking at these areas in a deeper way than you ever have before. You will be getting out of the mundane things – what is money about? What does it mean to me? Can I help others with these resources? How can I make better use of resources? This deep questioning will eventually result in more of a clear direction in your career because many of you have been feeling confused with your life direction.

If you are already in the film, media, acting industry – it will not be as confusing because many of the occupations in that field are about putting a mask on to the world and not necessarily being who you are. You will have a constant search for meaning and purpose. It will be important that you look at the people who you are working with are honest, whether they are deceptive, whether they are honest, whether you are deceiving people? Whether you are getting your needs met in the workplace. You may find yourself in and out of work – that you go from one type of work to another type of work. Nothing stays the same or stable. Jobs and work will have a transient feel – they come and go and if you can go with the flow (not easy for Taurus, I know!) – and have faith that something better is coming along, this transit will be easier for you to handle.

The 2nd half of the year should be much better than the 1st half as Jupiter the planet of good fortune moves into your sign after June. This would be the time to follow up on any glimmer of opportunity that comes into your life. It could hold a pot of gold behind it.

There will be a quest for you to find out what will satisfy you on all levels. This year you may need to let go of some friendships – where you have been doing a lot of the giving, maybe even rescuing and it’s time for you to see these friendships for what they are and that they have been draining your energy. You may need to let them go. There may be people who have been your friends for a long time but they are not going anywhere, you are not stimulated or excited by them. Maybe it’s time to let these relationships dissolve so that new people can come into your life.

New friends will be coming into your life and they will be exciting and interesting. Taurus doesn’t like to take big risks – but you may find yourself put into a situation that is beyond your comfort zone in a group or with your friends, and feel as though they are pushing you out – you will probably dig your heels in until you feel safe enough to make the move. Or it could mean the end of these friendships because they become too uncomfortable for you.

After June will be a time of excitement, a time of growth – and definitely a time when you should take more risks. It could also bring a special teacher or mentor into your life who will help you to move forward into new experiences. It will be a good time to meet new people, where you will feel accepted, where other people will want to take on the things that you are excited about. There will be a great deal of learning experiences. It’s not necessarily easy, because learning especially if you resist it can be painful, but when you have learned the lessons, you will feel empowered and stronger and more successful in your life. This still should be a great time for you. Lady luck is shining her light on you for the last 6 months of the year – so make the most of it!!

Between May and June Mars and Venus are in your sign. You will feel a boost of energy at this time – you might meet someone you really love. You may meet someone with whom you are on the same wavelength. It’s certainly going to be a good time for romance. You may have a tendency to overestimate someone’s good qualities or even be taken advantage by someone. Be careful of falling in love with someone who is already in a committed relationship.

Don’t scatter your energies or you will deplete yourself. Your energy levels should be coming back this year. After many years of feeling exhausted, life will start to pick up. However, it is vital that you put into place a good diet, regular exercise and time for rest and relaxation. With Saturn in this house of health, you will need to put good structures into looking after your health so that your body will take care of you in the years to come.

Aries 2011 Horoscope Forecast

This is going to be a HOT year for you! Uranus goes into your sign in March of this year and this only happens once in every 84 years. It is going to be there for seven years which indicates a whole new cycle beginning for you with a great deal of changes ahead.

Career and Money
Your work will be erratic, your finances will be erratic, how you feel about yourself will be changeable, but nonetheless you will experience a feeling of greater self confidence this year. There will be many highs and lows regarding your work and your finances. On the positive side, there are opportunities to change and grow in new directions. Whether it works out or not depends on whether you can identify which opportunities have potential and which ones are hyped-up and exaggerated. You need to determine the future possibilities and if something has promise, you have to be committed to making it grow. If you don’t work hard and remain focused, you may blow what could have turned into a good long-term opportunity for you.

You have to watch out that you don’t become too overbearing, especially when Mars is in your sign from beginning April to mid May. You will have a real boost of energy at that time, but watch out that you don’t get into arguments with people as you are going to “know” you are in the right.

This is a time when you will be thinking of freedom, of breaking out of boundaries and restrictions in your life. Others may criticise your behaviour saying that you are being pointlessly rebellious, but you will feel the need to free yourself from anyone or any situation where you feel restricted. You will have the urge to break out once and for all. This could lead to conflicts in the workplace, so choose your battles carefully.

It’s a wonderful time to be innovative. You will have an abundance of new ideas that are beyond anything you could ever have imagined. Try to think outside the box. Uranus rules Aquarius, so there will be this Aquarian feel to you where you are a bit quirky – you are a bit odd – you are changing – there’s so much about you that others won’t recognise any more. Don’t be afraid of it. This Uranian energy is shaking up your world. It will get rid of all the things in your life that have held you back for so long. And it will probably feel uncomfortable, but Jupiter is in your sign as well from January 24th until June 4th and it will be a time to open up to new beginnings and a possible new start in your career

You need to take the power back in your career, in what you want to do with your life. If you are feeling controlled or manipulated in your workplace, you will feel the need to break out of this. For many of you this will be time of exploration, of finding out what it really is you want to do with your life, how you want to make your mark in the world. Finding work where you don’t feel quashed and held down but where you feel in control of what it is you are doing.

You may lose your job and you will have to reinvent yourself in new, creative ways. Don’t be frightened about these powerful transits because they are going to push you out into so many new areas that it can be the most exciting thing that has ever happened to you.

You will probably feel unsettled, restless and impatient. You will be wondering why things aren’t moving ahead much faster for you, but it may have little to do with you and more to do with the state of the economy. You may be highly qualified in what you do, but companies may just be cutting back. So you will find yourself having to reinvent yourself over and over again. Try to see it as an adventure rather than an ordeal.

This year can be very favourable for your finances, but there could be a challenge in terms of job satisfaction. Many of you will hop from job to job, from contract to contract and not find any continuity in what you are doing. Try to see this as a year of many opportunities and for those of you who are self employed this could be a time of real growth. It’s also a good time to start your own business, even on a very small scale, as it could grow in the years to come into something very successful. There will be some wonderful opportunities financially for you this year if you will go outside your comfort zone and explore new and ingenious ways of making money.

You may experience the parting of ways from people who have been an important part of your life for a long time. It may lead to moments of sadness and even the fear of abandonment, as if something has been torn away from deep inside of you. It is all part of this process of reinventing your life. It will happen in your personal and your professional life. Old ones depart and new ones come in. You are being reborn in all ways.

It may be a year of separations - the end of a relationship, a partnership, a marriage. Particularly if that partner doesn’t see you in this new light and doesn’t encourage you be the new you. If they allow you to grow and support you, then this can be a wonderful time and you can come together stronger than ever. But for many of you this will be disruptive and you may find that certain relationships will end during this period.

You will also need to choose your friends carefully and wisely. You may not be seeing the relationship you have with your friends clearly. You may be helping them out too much. They may have become dependent on you. It may be time to allow these friends to dissolve out of your life. This will give the opportunity for new friends to come in with whom you share more common interests and with whom you can connect deeply. Some of the friends around you are not for your highest good and they may be taking too much from you.

You will also be looking at the relationship you have with yourself and finding out more about your emotional needs. You have a tendency to rush into relationships and then regret them some time later. This year, people will come into your life who look very exciting and you are best advised to force yourself to go slowly and get to know the person better before you open yourself up emotionally or even financially to them.

All year you are under Saturn influences in your relationships. If you can be honest and real, then serious relationships that you treasure and value can grow even stronger. Don’t despair, the relationships that are meant to endure will, and those that are holding you back will go out of your life. You may need to be alone for a while. You may even be in a relationship and feel isolated because your partner doesn’t connect with you on a deep emotional level.

Overall, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet new people and to make new friends. Take the time to go to social events, seminars, workshops or any adventures where you can meet new people who may become important in your life. Your charisma is very high this year, so make the most of it!

This should be a good year for you in terms of energy. You will have to watch out that you don’t overdo things and try to burn the candle at both ends. Make sure you keep up with regular exercise or you might put on weight. You may experience stress in the workplace, so be sure that you get enough rest and time out to wind down. Sometimes you have difficulty sleeping when your nerves are all wound up. Try to introduce regular meditation or yoga or even just listen to soothing music so that your body can achieve deep relaxation.

Wikileaks - does it affect you?

In November 2008 when Pluto was moving into Capricorn, I predicted that we would see greater transparency in our governments, banks, corporations and that information and secrets that had been withheld would be revealed. And just two years later, that prediction has come true. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and therefore is all about structures – it rules the authorities, our rulers, the financial institutions and big business and all authoritarian figures.

Now take a look at Wikileaks that comes along and threatens the security of many countries as they reveal information about businesses and governments around the world. And they have only just got started…

This weekend, Amazon Europe went down for over half and hour. Amazon said that it was a hardware issue, but was it really? After all, Amazon was among the first US firms to pull the plug on WikiLeaks since it began publishing thousands of US diplomatic cables, withdrawing hosting services last week after being questioned by the US Senate Homeland Security Committee.

Julian Assange has just been released on bail of £240,000 and he stated that he plans to continue with WikiLeaks and with releasing sensitive information. Many countries want to see him killed as they see him as such a threat. Right now there are over 3000 hackers from around the world who have joined his cause. Probably more are signing up all the time. They have pledged to ruin Mastercard, Visa, Paypal, Amazon and any company that has rejected hosting their services. They are gathering momentum and this is just the beginning. What’s interesting is that they are so concerned with transparency and yet they are called the Anonymous Group and they themselves hide behind screen names. They are not transparent themselves.

The latest news is that one of Assange’s top men has split with him and started his own organisation called OpenLeaks. This organisation is going to feed bits of information to the media in dribs and drabs and then let the media do what they want with it. This then gets them off the hook and takes them away from the direct line of fire.

So as you can see, Pluto in Capricorn has brought about the breakdown of authority and power, unearthed secret information and people’s lives and property are at stake. We don’t know the power of these groups, but one sure thing is that they are just starting up. There is certainly much more to come.

All this ties into the Cardinal Climax with Saturn in opposition to Uranus. Saturn represents the authorities and the status quo while Uranus is all about change, revolution, breaking out and not allowing anyone to tell you what to do. And in the middle of these two powerful planets, making a square to both of them is Pluto, which intensifies these energies and creates changes that affect our entire planet.

We’ve had the riots in Greece, Ireland and the latest in the UK. The spontaneous attack on the Prince Charles and Camilla shows the degree of rage of the people against the ruling classes. The banks have had billions of dollars of bailout funds, yet they continue to post huge profits and give their management enormous bonuses, while the people are left with austerity measures, losing their homes, their money, their jobs… it any wonder that they are resorting to rioting at the injustice of it all? We will see more revolts, more uprisings as the situation becomes more polarized over the next 5 years during the waning square of Uranus to Pluto.

Although you are seeing in play out in government, you will also see it play out in your personal life. What should you watch out for?

Be careful about what you share and with whom – whether it’s information, material goods, contact, anything. Be aware of what you post on social networking sites – that’s where transparency and security are really at risk. Don’t tell everyone that you are going away on such and such a day – chances are you will have a robbery when you get back.

If you do internet banking – check it out. Is it really safe? Not only your money, but how about your identity?

We are all vulnerable in one way or another.

Be careful of your privacy
Be aware of your security
Be observant
Don’t move too quickly as to what is being said to you
Guard what you say and to whom

All your private details should be kept secret. Anything that you have always felt very secure about will feel as if the rug is being pulled out from under you. Stay vigilant and don’t take anything for granted.

The Royal Wedding - William and Kate

William is a Cancer and Kate is born just six months earlier and is a Capricorn – so they are opposites. But these are opposites that are comfortable together – Earth and Water. The Earth gives the Water structure while the Water loosens up the earth and enables it to grow. One of the best astrological features of their charts is that they both have Moon in Cancer. This couldn’t be better. They will feel emotionally safe with one another, protected and comfortable. It’s the feeling of knowing what the other person wants and needs, knowing how their emotions operate, knowing when they need space and when they need company. The Moon is ruled by Cancer so it is in its natural place and they will have a feeling of “coming home.” It’s a great placement for having a family and children.

Mercury, the planet of communication is in Air signs which is also a good sign. William’s Mercury is in Gemini and Kate’s is in Aquarius. So they will be able to discuss things through logically and each will be able to have their say. Mercury is comfortable in an Air sign anyway, as it needs to communicate, to understand, to solve problems, to come up with new solutions. The placement of Mercury is extremely important when it comes to a relationship and even with the best placements of Venus and Mars, disharmonious Mercuries can cause the break-up of a marriage as couples just cannot seem to “get through” to one another. So for Kate and William, the communication part of their relationship looks good.

As far as Venus is concerned, William’s Venus is in Taurus while Kate’s is in Aquarius. This is quite different and means that they will have very different interests, but also a great sense of loyalty to one another. Venus in a fixed sign is constant and doesn’t tend to waver in their affections.

They both have Mars in Libra which can be very pleasant and agreeable but also argumentative at times. They will probably have their arguments just like any other couple, but will really enjoy making up again. The fact that they share so much Air energy indicates that they will be able to talk about issues that are bothering them, discuss them and find solutions that work for both of them. Mars in Libra above all wants everything to feel fair.

As we do not have an exact time of birth for Kate, the best way to understand the dynamics of their relationship is to look at the placement of her planets in William’s natal chart. Her Sun falls in his 1st house and this will mean that she makes him feel good. Being around her gives him more self-confidence, more vitality and more energy. Her Moon falls in his 7th house which is a wonderful placement for marriage and children. Her Jupiter in Scorpio falls in his 10th house which indicates that she will be a professional asset for him in his royal duties.

On the day of the wedding, 29th April 2011, there are 5 planets in Aries and they are placed at the top of the chart between the 9th and 10th houses. This indicates international relations, a great deal of travel, breaking new boundaries and bringing a new and fresh appeal for the future. Mercury is not retrograde which is good, and whilst some astrologers are getting concerned about the fact that the Moon will be void of course on that date, I see it as a minor detail in an overall lovely relationship that has the potential to blossom and to be long-lasting and happy. Let’s wish them well.

Full Moon in Gemini December 21st 2010

There is a Full Moon in Gemini on December 21st at 29 degrees. Gemini rules anything connected with education, intelligence, learning, studying, sharing, travelling, socialising, speaking, writing, connecting with people, networking.

This is a time to be social, it will be easier to meet new people, share ideas and enjoy having fun and playing together. It’s a great time to catch up with friends and family – not only in person, but by snail mail, email, text, Skype and also with your extended family on the Internet. Anything connected with writing and communication is highlighted, books, libraries, clubs, family gatherings and community or neighbourhood activities.

Be prepared for lots of mental stimulation and feeling as though your mind is all over the place. You may have many different ideas coming up at the same time and you might not be able to decide which direction to go in. You mind might be racing, you will be filled with ideas, inspiration, intellectual energy and you might speak too quickly. You may feel torn in two different directions – torn between two lovers or you might feel your work and your love life are pulling you into different directions. Gemini often represents duality and the issue of choice in our lives.

Your emotional state may be changeable: one minute up the next minute down. Try to stay flexible and in the moment. It’s a great time for sharing just about anything: jokes, songs, poetry, thoughts, ideas, problems, solutions.

It’s a good time to speak what’s on your mind, to attend concerts, parties, social gatherings. Organise your own party if necessary. Don’t sit home in isolation if you can help it and try to connect with others in person.

Because this Full Moon is at 29 degrees it is an urgent message asking you to be flexible to change. Something in your life may have matured and is no longer needed. It is time to transform it or to end it or to build something new.

The 29th degree can cause you to be indecisive, to waiver, to go back and forth and to evaluate ceaselessly, and sometimes if you get too frustrated you’re your your procrastinating, then you may make a rash decision that you may later regret. Take the time to think it through rationally.

For me, the Full Moon is in my 12th house – this is a time for deep thinking within, not necessarily too much socialising – but a time of healing from past pains of being misunderstood, or for not being real. Old patterns from the past come up for examination and it’s time to see both sides of what happened and to really shine a light on the emotions and feelings at play.

Here’s some practical ways you can take advantage of this Full Moon in Gemini:

Try to sit quietly and still your mind
Write down all the ideas, problems and possible solutions that are passing through your mind
Let your mind be free to come up with new ideas
If you have a problem – write your problem at the top of the page and then just freestyle all the ideas that you pop into your head
If you are feeling indecisive about something, write down the consequences of taking action or not taking action. See which option will have the more favourable outcome.
It’s a good time to come up with the ideas, but not the best time for actually making decisions. Wait until the Full Moon energies have passed before you make a final decision.

New Moon in Sagittarius - How to Make the best of it!!

New Moon in Sagittarius at 13 degrees on December 6th 2010

The Moon in Sagittarius gives us an opportunity to renew our optimism, our enthusiasm and dreams for the future. Sagittarius is about having fun, enjoying yourself and feeling that life is an adventure to be enjoyed. Sagittarius is honest, outspoken and independent – think about how you can bring these qualities into your life.

Sagittarius has a tendency to go over the top, so as long as you don’t have totally unrealistic expectations, then this can be a time of exploration, going beyond your limits and finding new and exciting adventures and goals.

It’s a time for fun, play, bringing out your zest for life. Sagittarius is the most optimistic sign of the zodiac and if you can see the funny side of situations this month it will be to your advantage. Try to live in the moment and see yourself being in the right place at the right time.

It’s also a good time to widen your horizons by learning something new, maybe take a course that you are sure will stretch your abilities and take you outside your comfort zone, but something that excites you nonetheless.

It’s time to take a direct approach in your life – in your relationships this is a good time for straight, honest communication. With Venus going direct it’s a great time for love, for taking the initiative, for taking a risk and having a new romance. You might be attracted to a foreigner or someone from a different culture.

You need to ensure you are flexible. Opportunity may be knocking on your door but you may be too busy to even notice it.

It’s a wonderful time to start fresh, to erase your fears and your negativity, and to step into pure positivity with a sense of freedom and potential for your future. It’s a great time to be more open to change as the Sagittarius energy makes it easier for you to adapt and to ease yourself into a better place in your life.

Make sure that you do ONE thing that you enjoy during this New Moon, one thing that will put a smile on your face and on those around you. It’s a good time for storytelling, for sharing jokes and funny experiences. It’s a time to see the bigger picture, not to get lost in the details, but to laugh at yourself and not to take yourself too seriously. The keyword for this New Moon is: FUN!!

Full Moon in Taurus - What does it mean?

What’s the message of this Full Moon? - Get physical!!

Taurus is all about your senses, enjoying earthly pleasures, so this is a great time to give yourself something pleasurable – it could be a lovely hot bath with some nice smelling oils, a massage, a walk in the country, a trip to the beach, going out for a sumptuous meal, making home-made cakes, going around naked, having some unhurried time in the garden, sensual delights……anything that stimulates your senses is going to be heightened during this Full Moon in Taurus.

Taurus is an earth sign and is very physical and the Moon is Exalted in Taurus. This means that it is a great placement for the Moon as it can give full expression in a practical way to its emotions.

This Moon is ruled by Venus so it will involve your finances and your relationships in some way, especially your finances. Look at how well you are using resources and money. Are you building an enduring structure? Are there ways to draw on your natural gifts that can lead to financial abundance? This Full Moon will help to draw you in that direction.

Taurus very much wants a life that is warm, soft, comfortable, sensual, with beautiful surroundings, great music and art, colourful – all things that help to soothe and heal anxiety and worry. Taurus rules survival and therefore your security – personal security and global security. This is a time to face personal and national greed and selfishness. See if you can be more generous to others during this Full Moon to affirm your prosperity.

I have Moon in Taurus natally and it is in my 11th house. I am always conscious of security and it will be further triggered during the Full Moon. It’s important for me to take a look at my dreams and wishes – to see if they are realistic and can be accomplished. Or have I been too conservative in my projections? Am I playing it too safe? Where to I need to break out and experiment with new ideas and options? The 11th house is all about humanitarian exploits and I have started to help out at an old age home – just feeding the residents who are unable to feed themselves. This Full Moon in my 11th house forces me to look at how I can give more generously to those less fortunate than myself, not thinking so much about my own security, but focusing on other peoples’ survival needs.

If you know where this Full Moon falls in your chart, then you will see which area of your life will be activated.

If you don’t have your chart and you only know either your Sun Sign or your Rising sign:

If you are an Aries Sun or Ascendant, it will fall in your 2nd house.
Taurus Sun or Ascendant, in your 1st house
Gemini Sun or Ascendant, in your 12th house
Cancer Sun or Ascendant, in your 11th house
Leo Sun or Ascendant, in your 10th house
Virgo Sun or Ascendant, in your 9th house
Libra Sun or Ascendant, in your 8th house
Scorpio Sun or Ascendant, in your 7th house
Sagittarius Sun or Ascendant, in your 6th house
Capricorn Sun or Ascendant, in your 5th house
Aquarius Sun or Ascendant, in your 4th house
Pisces Sun or Ascendant, in your 3rd house

For example if you are a Sagittarius Sun or Ascendant it will fall in your 6th house of work and service. You may have some emotional issues to deal with at work, there may be financial problems that need to be resolved, you may find yourself giving to someone you work with and helping them in some way. This is also the house of health so it’s a great time to do something really positive for your physical body – have a massage, go out for a delicious meal, treat yourself to something you love, get some flowers, spend time in the garden if you enjoy gardening, just make sure you do something that makes you feel nourished.

Use Astrology To Time Your Important Events

Getting your timing right – how Astrology can help

One of the greatest benefits of astrology is that it can help you time crucial events in your life to your greatest advantage. For example, if you are thinking of starting a business, when would be the best time to do it?

When I started my property investment business in London I checked out astrological aspects. I chose a date that would give the business its best possible chance for success. I tried to ensure that the financial aspects were favourable, that it was a good time for the particular business I wanted to start and that it had the potential to be a great success. For example, Cancer was on the midheaven and Cancer rules property and real estate, so that was a good position for the fledgling business and also good for dealing effectively with the public. With the Moon in Capricorn, this meant I could help people to solve their financial problems and find practical and sensible solutions to fit their needs. The great financial aspect at the time involved the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus also in Cancer which are both money planets and in the sign ruling real estate. It couldn’t be better! So I chose that date to incorporate Stratford Properties and I went from having just a small inheritance from my father to a multi million pound business within just a few years. Yes of course I had challenges to face just like any business does, but overall, the aspects showed me that I had a good chance to create a very profitable business.

I have done this with clients who wanted to know when would be the best time to launch a new product idea, when would be a good time to launch their new book, would this be a good time to become self-employed? These are all great questions that astrology can address and can give you optimum dates for success.

Other important questions that astrology can address are things like:
Is this a good time to sell my house? Is it likely to sell or should I wait until a better time?
Recently, I wanted to sell a small property I owned and by looking at my aspects, I knew I had a small window of opportunity in which to sell. I also knew that I would not get back my initial investment and I would have to drop the price in order to find a buyer. With this information, I was able to price the property so that it attracted buyers and I did sell it in less than two weeks! So even in a difficult market, as long as you know your parameters, you may be able to find a buyer. However, with another property, as it was in a much higher price bracket, I knew that I would be wasting time and money if I were to put it on the market at this time. So I chose to rent out that property instead.

Another question might be whether this is a good time for you to move?
Should I look at changing my career at this time?
Is it a good time for me to get into a relationship?

For example, the transits might show that for the next couple of years you are best not getting into a relationship as it will not be able to survive these transits. Anything you get into during this period won’t last, so you can save yourself a great deal of heartache by waiting until the transits are over.

For anything involving timing of your most important events, consider using astrology to guide you to your best possible results.

The Moon Signs - what they mean

Moon Signs

Most people know their Sun sign but few are aware of the importance of their Moon sign. The Sun stays in a sign for approximately 28 days, whereas the Moon changes sign every two and a half days so it is a much more sensitive point in person’s chart. The Moon in your chart shows your child within, how you respond and react to situations, your emotional self and it is very important in connection with how you relate to other people. If you are in a relationship with someone who has a compatible Moon sign to you, chances are you will feel comfortable and at home around them. If it is not in a compatible sign with your Moon sign, you may feel as though they drain your energy, you feel as though they are rubbing your fur the wrong way. I’m sure many of you can identify with that feeling.

So let me outline the main characteristics of each Moon sign and I’d appreciate it if you could send me feedback as to whether you identify with your Moon sign or whether it doesn’t fit you at all:

Moon in Aries
You are spontaneous and you need to be active. You can flare up quickly but then forget just as quickly what upset you in the first place. You like to try out new things, to go on adventures, to be the first, to be inspirational. You have a natural enthusiasm. You can be very impatient especially if someone else is very slow. You need to feel the earth moving under you.

Moon in Taurus
You like comforts in life, you like some predictability, you like sensual things – you love nice food, nice surroundings, beautiful things, nature, scenery, flowers, music – anything that stimulates your senses. You do not like change and you can get into a rut if you don’t watch it. You are insecure around money and you definitely need a nest egg to make you feel safe.

Moon in Gemini
Emotionally you think first and feel afterwards. You tend to analyse your emotions and you don’t like strong displays of emotion. You are more thinking than feeling. You are very flirtatious by nature and you charm people with your eloquence with words. You are restless and you don’t like to be tied down. You have many interests and are easily bored.

Moon in Cancer
You are extremely sensitive, caring and nurturing. You have a tendency to hide your feelings even though you feel everything very deeply. You are easily hurt and you don’t like to show it. You need time and space alone and can be a very private person. You are moody – up one minute and down the next.

Moon in Leo
You need to be admired, appreciated and adored. If you don’t feel as though you are being noticed, you can get quite depressed. You are very creative, affectionate and generous. You do need to be in the limelight at least some of the time and you like to be in charge and organise everything.

Moon in Virgo
You are practical and you don’t like to express your emotions. You see feelings from an analytical perspective and you don’t see any point to them unless they have a practical use. You can seem detached, but you do like to be helpful. When you feel as though you are being of service then you feel you can connect emotionally to other people.

Moon in Libra
You are charming, diplomatic and gracious and you hate conflict. You have a tendency to compromise rather than rock the boat. You need to make sure that you get your needs met and don’t give too much way all the time. You like to keep the peace and constant arguments and conflict can make you ill. You like comfort and convenience and you like to be loved and popular.

Moon in Scorpio
Your emotions run deep but you don’t like to show them. You are intensely loyal and true, but you will not abide being taken advantage of. You have definite motives for your actions. You are good at getting to the bottom of situations and are a great researcher. You don’t like change much and you have to make sure that you don’t create a series of crises in your life to bring about much overdue changes.

Moon in Sagittarius
This is a friendly, optimistic placement for the Moon and you want everyone around you to feel good. You don’t like heavy emotions and you prefer to keep things on a more superficial level. You have a tendency to promise more than you can deliver. You need adventures and surprises and fun things to do. You like to party and enjoy life.

Moon in Capricorn
You are reliable, honest and trustworthy. You do not like to show your emotions and you can be a very private person. You like to have a job of work to accomplish and you like to have goals that you are reaching towards. You can be good in business and you do need to find a use for everything. You need to find ways in which you can get in touch with your emotions otherwise you may become depressed.

Moon in Aquarius
You are offbeat, unusual and quirky by nature and you can detach yourself from your emotions quite easily. You think first and feel later. You are friendly and sociable but often you don’t know how you are feeling and this can make you seem aloof and insensitive. You have a great sense of fun and you like to see the funny side in all situations no matter how serious they are. You are great to have around in a crisis as you can keep your cool.

Moon in Pisces
You are emotional, sensitive, caring and soft. You have a tendency to pick up other people’s emotions and you may have to learn how to protect yourself. You definitely need time and space to yourself to recharge your batteries. You often don’t know where your feelings begin and where other people’s feelings end. You are often confused and music and the arts can be soothing for you emotionally.

New Moon in Scorpio November 6th 2010

This New Moon at 13 degrees Scorpio gives you the opportunity to look deep inside yourself, to question what is important in your life and to strip away anything that is no longer serving you. It could be a car that’s not really working properly, it could be a house, it could be a business, it could be a relationship…Be prepared to discard what is not working and release it. Don’t hang on. You need to make space for new, more nourishing people and experiences to come into your life. Scorpio is all about letting go. The more you hang on, the more difficult it will be for you. If you will go with the changes that are being asked of you, your life will be a whole lot easier to manage.

What are your deepest desires? If you are stuck in a quagmire of emotions and unhealthy habits that are keeping you from achieving your goals, use this New Moon in Scorpio to set serious new goals. Scorpio inspires persistence and determination, the courage to face unpleasantness and hardship in order to grow stronger, more confident and more satisfied with your life.

You may find that mysteries, issues that have bugged you in one way or another will come to light and if you take the time to look deep within, you will find answers to questions that have been on your mind.

On the positive side, it is a time of rebirth, where you can start fresh. Focus on your self improvement on regenerating yourself.

Don’t let the emotional intensity of this new moon frighten or isolate you. Allow it to draw you closer to others.

Anything connected with other people’s money, inheritances and financial partnerships may come up for resolution during this time so be ready to examine your finances in depth.

Try to figure out the source of difficulties in your life and make a conscious effort to resolve them.

Get plenty of rest as this could be a time when you will have some interesting and insightful dreams.

For those of you who know where this New Moon falls in your chart, you will see which life area is being most impacted. For me, it’s in my 5th house of creativity and my own business. I am in the process of having whole revamp of my website. I’ve put off doing this for a long time because I had paid in advance for several years for this site – however, Scorpio often indicates a loss of something and for me it is a loss of some money in order to move onto something new.

If you don’t have a birth chart, then use your Sun sign or your rising sign if you know it.

If you are an Aries Sun or Ascendant, it will fall in your 8th house.
Taurus Sun or Ascendant, in your 7th house
Gemini Sun or Ascendant in you 6th house
Cancer Sun or Ascendant in you 5th house
Leo Sun or Ascendant in your 4th house
Virgo Sun or Ascendant in your 3rd house
Libra Sun or Ascendant in your 2nd house
Scorpio Sun or Ascendant in your 1st house
Sagittarius Sun or Ascendant in your 12th house
Capricorn Sun or Ascendant in your 11th house
Aquarius Sun or Ascendant in your 10th house
Pisces Sun or Ascendant in your 9th house

So for example, if you are a Taurus or have Taurus rising, the New Moon in Scorpio will be in your 7th house of relationships. You may need to ask yourself whether there are relationships in your life that you need to let go of, or maybe let go of control, make radical changes, take back your power, be prepared to be alone, face the issues you have been avoiding, look at the issues that have been bothering you, see if they can be resolved and if not, be prepared to walk away.

This is a powerful New Moon so make the best use of its energies in your life!

Mercury and how you communicate

This blog will give you a taster about Mercury – it’s such an important planet that is often greatly underestimated. Mercury is the planet of communication. It rules information – we are in the information age. Mercury shows you a great deal about how you communicate – how comfortable you may be with some things, but how extremely uncomfortable you might be with communicating other things. Maybe you have a very strong Mercury in your chart and you are a chatterbox and nobody can shut you up. You are on the phone, your are on your Ipod, your on the computer, you are always communicating and you have to have some kind of communication device in your hand at any given time.

Mercury can never be more than 28 degrees away from the Sun, so it will either be in the sign before your Sun sign, the same sign as your Sun, or in the next sign after you Sun sign. For example, if you are a Gemini Sun, you will either have Mercury in Taurus, Gemini or Cancer. For many people it will be in the same sign as your Sun and for you learning is probably easy. You are in alignment with your personality, it can be easier to communicate. When the Sun and Mercury are in different signs you will often feel as though you are misunderstood. People just don’t get you. The further away Mercury is from your Sun, the harder you may find it is for you to communicate with people. You may feel as though they are not listening, they don’t hear you. The aspects to your Mercury will show whether there is an easy flow of communication in your life or whether it is difficult and uptight.

Mercury also shows your best learning style - some of us learn best by experience and doing something hands on, others learn best in a school situation through books and a teacher up front.

Let’s take a look at Mercury through the different signs:
If you have Mercury in a fire sign – Aries, Leo, Sagittarius – you need to get things your chest. You need to speak out. You might have said something and later regret it feeling that maybe you were a bit too quick off the mark. Mercury in a Fire sign cannot help itself – it just flares up and it needs to get the information out quickly. Mercury in Fire has a quick mind, sometimes the brain works quicker than the words that come out of it.

Then there is Mercury in the Earth signs – Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn – tends to be a little slower, with perhaps the exception of Virgo which is a little quicker, however you don’t speak without thinking. You don’t like to rush into something, you are more grounded. You like to look at the reality of the situation first before you jump in. Mercury in Taurus is perhaps the slowest before it gets involved. It is slow to communicate. Let’s say you are with a partner who has Mercury in Aries who is quick quick quick – “what do you think of this??” “shall we do that?”
Mercury in Taurus feels completely overwhelmed by this and says “please, give me some time to think about it!” This is why it is important to have compatible Mercuries in a relationship. The Mercury placements can be one of the most important factors in determining how nourishing a relationship is going to turn out on a day to day basis.

Let’s look at Mercury in the Air signs – Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Mercury is quite comfortable in an Air sign because Mercury is fast, it doesn’t want to be pinned down. The Air signs like to reason, to look at a situation logically and this is very much what Mercury likes to do.

My Mercury is in Libra in an Air sign – I am always worried about what other people are thinking, do they like me, I worry about how I am coming across, I don’t like unpleasantness. I need balance in communication – there is no way I would write a blog that just covered a few of the signs. No, I have got to cover everybody to make sure that everyone has a fair share of the attention. That’s my Mercury in Libra.

Mercury in Gemini is in its rulership and is usually very happy there – a good communicator, often interested in learning, writing, needs a great deal of variety and cannot bear to be pinned down.
Mercury in Aquarius is exalted and often has a flair for figures and for thinking outside the box. In general all the Air sign Mercuries can be very impatient and they find it difficult to communicate with someone who is much slower in their communication style. It can be very frustrating to them and they just want to say “get on with it!!”

Mercury in Water signs – Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. They need to feel their way before they communicate. Intuitive by nature they may need to write it all down before they can speak, they might need to paint it, to write a poem. They are extremely sensitive in their communication and could feel very rushed by a Mercury in a Fire sign. Let’s say you have Mercury in Pisces and you are in a relationship with someone who has Mercury in Leo. Well they are going to be very bossy, organising you and telling you to do this and that. Mercury in Pisces is timid enough as it is. You will probably have to learn how to assert yourself and to stick up for what you need.

There is so much to share about Mercury – my Mercury in Libra is dying to share so much with you!! But this is just a taster and I will be back with more.

Are you ready for Venus Retrograde?

From October 8th – November 18th and Venus is in Scorpio mainly until 7th January 2011.
As it is in Scorpio – ask yourself whether there are any control issues in your relationships?
Are you bossy and domineering or is your partner? Do you have possessive feelings?
Do you trust your lover?
It's a time to step back and take a look at what you love and what you value.

Where it is transiting in your chart will show which area of life will be most affected for you.

For example – in your 1st house it will force you to look at yourself, what your needs are, whether you need to make some changes in your appearance
In your 2nd house – you will be forced to look at your values, what is important to you, how you earn your money, are you satisfied
In your 4th house – time to reevaluate family relationships, maybe issues from the past come up for attention, maybe endings, completions
In your 5th house – analyse a romantic connection you have
In your 9th house – look at what your beliefs are, maybe adjust them – not be too narrow-minded, opening up more to the universe
In your 10th house – rethink your career and your life direction – are you working in something that you love or not, is there deception in your workplace? Endings?

In my own chart this retrograde is in my fourth house of home, family, roots, security – and close to natal Neptune – forcing me to look at my relationships – I moved to a new area and I don’t know anyone – and the people who were friends with me seem to have dropped off the face of the earth and I am having to decide what relationships I want and where I am in my life. I am starting over again.

Some relationships may end, some relationships may begin.

Venus retrograde can bring things to you, it can take things from you

Same with your finances – some new opportunities may come, some may disappear.

If you want to know where it is in your chart and how it will affect you, send me a question for USD$25.00 on my website:

New Moon in Libra October 7th

The New Moon in Libra is an opportunity for you to bring newness and renewal into your relationships. This is not only your intimate relationship, but also your business relationships, work relationships, any partnerships you may have. As Saturn and the Sun are also in Libra at this time, ask yourself whether your relationships are built on solid foundations? Are you feeling restricted in your relationships? Do you need to find more balance in your relationships? Are you being too nice and compromising your needs?

The New Moon in Libra is ruled by Venus so it's important to think about the things that you enjoy doing. Have you been putting off doing something or starting something that you love? For example, I love going cycling, but my bike needed fixing and I had put it off for ages. Yesterday, I took it to the bike store and for just $20.00 it is now as good as new and I am happily riding around town! So ask yourself what you would enjoy doing and take action to bring it to life!

Have a Happy New Moon.

Dare I Ask the Astrologer?

Dare I Ask the Astrologer???
The differences between a Psychic and an Astrologer.

My whole life is falling apart – how am I supposed to pick out just ONE question???

But here’s the deal…if you look carefully there usually is ONE question that concerns you more than anything else. That’s the question you should be asking.

Try to ask a specific question, the more specific your question is, the more specific an answer I can give you. If you ask me “am I ever going to find my one true love in this lifetime?” While you may think that is a specific question it really is not. Astrology can tell you the dates that you will have opportunities to meet a partner, but you are the only one who can know if this is going to be your one true love after you meet that person.

While I am sympathetic to the catharsis a client feels in detailing everything that’s been happening in their lives for the last 100 years, in actuality it causes more misunderstandings than helping the situation.

I often get people asking me:
What is my future partner going to look like or be like?
Where am I going to meet him or her?
And will I be loved just for me?
And while I would love to be able to answer those kinds of questions, they are more for a psychic than an astrologer.

I can tell you what your windows of opportunity will be for a romantic relationship to start, I can tell you what kind of person you would be suited to and should be looking for, but I can’t tell you if this kind of person is the ONE you are actually going to meet and marry.

I can tell you when it’s likely that you would marry and whether you would be compatible with this partner, and what each others strengths and weaknesses are, where you would complement each other, what areas would bring discord, but I can’t tell you whether or not you will be loved for yourself or whether you will meet someone at a cocktail party having a champagne toast.

As an astrologer I can tell you whether or not your aspects are favourable for getting a job. What I cannot tell you is where you are going to get that job or if you are going to get along with your coworkers and your boss.

I can tell you where your talents lie, what your strengths are, whether or not you will be dealing with situations involving family members, romantic relationships, friendships and the public, but it may not be possible to pinpoint exactly what those particular problems are going to be.

It may not be possible to give you a specific date for an event but rather a range that shows when something is going to start and when something is going to end.

Here are some examples of good questions to ask the astrologer:

Where do my talents lie?
What career would best suit me?
I’m thinking of becoming a day trader – will I be successful?
Do I have aspects that show that I am lucky?
When will my finances improve?
Is this a good time to move?
My boyfriend just dumped me for another woman – will I get him back?
My brother-in-law wants me to invest in his company. He said he will make me a junior partner. Shall I do it?
I’ve been on my own for so many years now – am I ever going to meet someone?
My husband died 6 months ago and my sons and daughter in law want me to sell my house and move in with them. Should I do it?
I’ve always wanted to be self-employed, but my partner wants me to have a job with a regular paycheck. Should I take a chance and start my own business anyway?
I’ve just met someone and I feel as though I am in love with them – will this be a long-lasting relationship?
I don’t know whether to leave my marriage or whether to have an affair and stay in my marriage. What do my aspects show?
I want to be in a committed relationship – but all my relationships don’t seem to last. Will I ever be in a committed relationship?
My daughter gave birth last month and she wants to go back to work. She wants me to take care of her new baby. I’ve already raised 5 of my own children – should I be taking this one on too?
Nothing has gone right for me for the last couple of years – when will things improve?
I graduated over 2 years ago and I cannot seem to find a job in my field. Should I keep on looking or should I go back to school and train for something else?
My husband was paying my school tuition and he just walked out on me last week and said he won’t pay for my schooling any more. I have one more year to go – does it look like I’ll get the money to finish?
Am I destined to spend the rest of my life alone, or will I find a partner?
I’ve always enjoyed singing and the arts – could I make this into a successful career?
I’ve just written a book – am I going to get published?
Is this a good time for me to start my own business?

Pick ONE question for USD$25.00 and I will be glad to answer it in an email of up to 150 words.

Even though it’s human nature to want to explore the answers further, I would be glad to answer your remaining questions either with a Mini-reading a half hour reading or a full reading or another question for $25.00.

I look forward to hearing from you!

For the Northern Hemisphere it marks the beginning of Autumn and in the Southern Hemisphere it coincides with the Spring equinox. The seasons are changing and so must you.

Aries has a tendency to be very impatient and can be easily irritated so don’t be surprised if you feel these emotions more intensely during this period.

The main focus area will be you and your relationships. Emotions that have been building up over the last few weeks, months or years will burst out. If you have been putting off communicating about something that has been bugging you, chances are that the fiery energy of this Full Moon will spur you to get it off your chest – and you won’t be too worried how it comes out! This is a great time for honesty in your relationships, even if it is unpleasant, it’s better to have it out in the open. You will be faced with the sore points in your relationships and you’ll have the opportunity to resolve them. Make time for your partner, your friends or people who are important to you. It would be a good time to have a celebration. It’s also a great time for love making and romance once you have cleared up all the obstacles and issues.

The energies of Aries and Libra are totally different. Aries thinks of itself and what it wants whereas Libra thinks of others and puts its own needs on the back burner. This Full Moon in Aries is asking you to look at the balance in your relationships and to evaluate whether you are giving too much or taking too much. The Aries energy will be pushing you to look at your own needs and to stick up for yourself more and to be more assertive.

New Moon Madness in Virgo

New Moon Madness in Virgo

On September 8th we have a New Moon in Virgo. The effects of this energy will be with us until October 6th.

What is the best way to deal with the energies of this new moon?

Virgo rules your physical health, your body, your work and the service you give to others.

Think about your health and ways in which you can look after yourself better. Do you need to improve your diet, your exercise regime? Do you need to go on a cleanse? How can I clean myself inside and out? What routines can you put in place that will enhance your health?

It’s a great time to sort out anything in your house or your living area. Decluttering will be much easier during a Virgo new moon than at any other time as you are working with the energies. Throw out things that you really don’t use or need any more – either give them away to charity or sell them and get some extra cash. Virgo is all about discernment – keeping what is really necessary and letting the rest go.

Watch out that you don’t get ultra critical and find fault with everyone around you. Virgo can be extremely critical and picky, so make sure you don’t become insufferable to live with during this time.

Sort out your office, do that filing you have been putting off, streamline everything to make your life easier.

Enjoy having a good clear out this month in more ways than one!!

What are you doing with Your Cardinal Climax?

The Cardinal Climax brings you opportunities - the rest is up to you to take those opportunities and to make them work for you.

I have the Cardinal Climax hitting my 10th house of career. I didn't need to make the changes I am making in my career. I could have just let my whole career path be shaken up and buffeted around by the winds of change. Instead, I chose to look at this as an opportunity to make my career more exciting. Instead of limiting myself to making appointments in person and waiting for people to show up at my house, I chose to stop doing readings that way and to try other avenues that satisfied a more basic need.
I chose to start something new with offering astrology questions for $25.00 each - I chose to start recording cds and dvds and offer them online.

I am choosing to start researching ways in which to offer online classes, video conferencing of astrology coaching, and making ebooks and on astrology and finance available to the public.I'm also writing some exciting new astrological reports on subjects like the Mayans and 2012, relationships, vocation and career, past lives to name but a few.

You can choose to see the squares and oppositions in your chart as limitations or you can choose to see those same squares and oppositions in your chart as opportunities for growth.

I choose to see mine for growth.

How do you choose to see yours?

The upcoming Cardinal Climax this August 2010 - how will it affect you personally?

The upcoming Cardinal Climax this August 2010 – how will it affect you??

Firstly, for those of you who are new to astrology, let me explain the word “cardinal.” Cardinal applies to four signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Each one heralds a new season and signifies something new, a pushing forward with changes ahead. Each one of those star signs in their own way likes to be autonomous, doing their own thing and not being bossed around by others. They like to spearhead new inventions, ideas, plans, process, structures, relationships, careers…They like to push the boundaries and move into uncharted territory. Cardinal signs are leaders by nature, they don’t like to be told no and they don’t take kindly to orders or interference from others.

Now, in the heavens we have a configuration of three very powerful planets in Cardinal signs making difficult aspects to one another for the next 3-5 years. They are: Pluto in Capricorn, Saturn in Libra and Uranus in Aries. You might ask, what about Cancer? Good question. The fact that the other three cardinal signs are activated means that Cancer is the balancing point and will also be directly affected by this cardinal formation. So what will it mean for you on a personal level?

Those of you who have either your Sun, Moon or Ascendant in a Cardinal sign will be greatly affected by these transits.

Firstly, it is important to know your Ascendant or rising sign then you will be able to place these planets into your chart (or have a professional astrologer do it for you) and see in which houses they fall. This will tell you the life areas that will be activated for you during these powerful transits.

For example, if you have an ascendant of 1 degree Aries, you will have Uranus on your Ascendant which will have a direct impact on the way you see yourself, the way you would like to come across and a feeling of impatience and a need for freedom in all areas of your life. Saturn will fall on your Descendant affecting all your relationships. There will be endings or completions and possibly some new relationships on the horizon, but you will have to go very slowly and carefully to ensure that you don’t get into a relationship with someone who is controlling and who wants to have power over you. You will constantly be trying to balance the energy of Uranus on your Ascendant which brings turbulence, change and a desire to break out of old patterns and habit with Saturn in your 7th house which wants you to look at your relationships from a realistic viewpoint and to discard those that are no longer working and to make a concerted effort to improve those that you want to last into the future. Any transit of Saturn through your 7th house places a strain on your existing relationships and if you are in a serious relationship it could come under severe pressure during this time. If however, your relationship survives this transit, you will come out of it with a stronger more enduring relationship than you ever had before.

As if this isn’t enough, you also have to contend with having Pluto on your midheaven or somewhere at the top of your chart. This indicates huge changes in your direction in life. You may decide to take on a serious form of study for several years, you may move from one career into another, you may leave a job suddenly or you may receive a long-awaited promotion. Whatever isn’t working for you in your work area will be stripped away from you and you may find yourself without a job until you find your new direction in life. This is certainly a life-changing aspect. However, it does move slowly and you may find that the changes take place over a period of years. Just don’t expect your career or life direction to be the same 5 years from now.

Depending on where this cardinal climax falls in your natal chart will tell you what areas of your life are going to be most affected.

On a broader level, the whole world will be changed by these aspects. We are already seeing the build up of its effects. The totally avoidable oil spill in the Gulf is an example of these aspects. It was through greed and avarice that so many people and animals and our planet is suffering. Both on the macrocosm and the microcosm we will see vast changes. We will each need to look inside carefully at the areas in our lives that are out of kilter. Areas where we are taking too much, areas where we have entitlement issues and think that the world owes us a living, areas where we are giving too much or taking too much in our relationships.

If this configuration affects your 2nd house of money, you can be sure that you will have several severe lessons about money that you must learn during these transits. It could be that you need to get yourself out of debt and learn how to be more responsible with money. If it affects your 8th house, then you may have to take responsibility for someone else’s resources. You may have issues with an inheritance, you may have issues with banks, accountants or financial advisors.

If the aspects fall in your 4th house of home and family, then expect upheavals in this area of your life. It could mean a move out of your home, your state, even your country. It could mean selling your home for less money than you anticipated just to get out of debt and walk free. It could mean having severe renovations to do on your home. It could mean having to deal with issues from the past concerning your family. You may have to face things you have been avoiding for years.

If these planets fall on the angles of your chart i.e. the Ascendant, the Descendant, the Midheaven the IC (bottom of the chart), then they will have apparent physical effects in your life. If they fall in other positions, chances are that the changes could happen on a more internal level first and then move to the external parts of your life.

This can be one of the most stressful, intense, exciting and challenging times in your life. It is often one when people do feel the need to consult an astrologer to see what is going on.

If you would like to ask me about the effect of this Cardinal Climax in your life you have a few options:

You can ask me a question for USD$25.00 which I will answer in an email of up to 150 words
You can book in for a reading:
10 minutes for $35.00
30 minutes for $65.00
1 hour for $95.00

and we can discuss what is going on in your life, what the cycles are that you are experiencing and gain some clarity of direction for your future.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to being of service to you during these transient times.

Volcanic Ash and Mercury Retrograde – which Astrological aspects show this global disruption?

Mercury is almost retrograde, yet already we are seeing huge frustrations and blockages in travel throughout the world. It is, however, in its shadow from 4th April until 28th May, so we can expect to see more disruptions during this period.

With Mercury going retrograde in Taurus, this means that “earthly” challenges can result. The volcano is spewing out ash from the earth, we have had a huge amount of earthquakes in various parts of the world over the last few months and this is set to increase.

On a more personal level, during this Mercury retrograde in Taurus, it is a great time to sort out any repairs, annoyances around the house that you have been putting off doing. It’s time to get your practical situation in order and to solve any blockages that are preventing you from being productive in your everyday life.

The other aspects astrologically that could have contributed to the volcanic ash are the fact that Saturn is opposing Uranus. Uranus rules air travel and with it being opposite Saturn this could mean delays, frustrations or restrictions. Uranus would indicate disruptions and sudden changes.

We also have Neptune in Aquarius quincunx Saturn in Virgo. The Neptune in Aquarius could relate to confusion and uncertainty in air travel together with challenges, obstructions and difficulties coming from Saturn in Virgo. Virgo rules routines and they are certainly being disrupted during this aspect.

Let me just recap the things to watch out for during Mercury retrograde:

Signing legal documents
Closing big deals
Launching new projects
Scheduling meetings to make a big decision
Backup your hard drive before the retrograde
Avoid installing new computer software during the retrograde
Do needed repairs on machinery before the retrograde

It’s a good time to:
Do follow ups on a project already started
Complete a project already started
Research a new project thoroughly
Catch up on paperwork
Hold an information-sharing meeting

Saturn in Libra – what will it mean for your relationships?

Except for a brief period between April 8th and July 21st, Saturn is in Libra until October 5th 2010. Saturn is exalted in Libra which means that this is one of its most powerful placements. Saturn represents reality, challenges, structure, foundation, obstacles, hard work, obligations, restrictions, and limitations. As he transits through the houses of your birth chart, he teaches you important lessons that will improve the quality of your life in the longer term.

Libra governs partnerships and all kinds of relationships, both personal and business. Libra is objective, fair-minded, logical, social, charming, friendly, seeks balance, and appreciates the aesthetic beauty in its surroundings. Libra does not like conflict and will try to keep the peace at all costs. Saturn doesn’t operate on that level – if there is some unpleasantness to be experienced, then it is all for the bigger picture and the sooner we face the issues, the sooner we can construct new structures that are supportive and helpful in our lives.

With Saturn in Libra, we have lessons to learn about the challenges in our relationships, our commitment and work we need to put in to maintain healthy connections, the balance of power within our partnerships, and the objectivity that is sometimes needed especially when passions and emotions come to the fore.

Those of you who were born between 1982 and 1984 may be experiencing your first Saturn Return (embarking on adulthood); and those of you who were born between 1952 and 1954 may be going through your second Saturn Return. The way you dealt with your first Saturn return will have a strong bearing on how easy or how challenging your second Saturn return will be.

Let’s take a look at how Saturn will be affecting you through the various houses:

The 1st House represents you, your self-image, your being, your potential. Saturn's transit through house might bring self-awareness of your limitations due to various obligations in your life, situations forced upon you, or mental and physical challenges. This transit is about rising above whatever is pushing you down and keeping you from the success you desire; having the confidence and belief in your own determination and drive for achievement despite the odds; making lemonade out of lemons. At the beginning of this transit you may feel quite lost – as though much has been taken away from you and you are back to the beginning. This is because Saturn gets rid of anything that is extraneous and of no value to you and gives you a chance to rebuild your life. Decisions that you make during this period are the start of another 14 year period in your life. So take your time and don’t allow yourself to be rushed.

The 2nd House represents your material possessions, your income, your values, and your self-worth. On a higher level, it represents stability, inner peace, and being grounded through your own self-sufficiency. In these difficult economic times and employment worries, Saturn's transit through the 2nd house reminds you that your true worth does not lie in your possessions and inner peace cannot be achieved through material means alone. You may be forced learn to live within your financial means, discard the unnecessary, and have your resilience truly tested. This is certainly a time to be frugal and to make best use of the resources available to you.

The 3rd House represents short trips, communication, commerce, writing, speaking, thinking, planning, and ideas. Saturn's transit through this house might mean that you take up a serious course of study, one that will take a few years to accomplish. This should be in a field that will further your career. Remember that Saturn is a slow-moving planet, so don’t allow yourself to get bogged down with the details. Instead, focus on actively taking baby steps towards your future. For those with siblings this transit might highlight how relationships and interactions with them can be improved. You may feel as though your movement is restricted in some way – this is just so that you stay focused and don’t scatter your energies.

The 4th House represents the family - present or issues from the past, the home – buying or selling a house, moving, re-financing, re-decorating, remodeling, and your private life. On an emotional or personal level, it represents coming to terms with the past or unresolved family issues. A Saturn transit in the fourth house might prove truly challenging. Here, you are urged to put your raw emotions aside for the sake of reason and what's achievable. You may do renovations on your property. For example, you may insulate it and put in double glazing to save on heating bills for the winter.

The 5th House represents self-expression, creative projects, love and romance, fun, playfulness, and children. Saturn's transit through the fifth house makes you aware of your responsibilities while at the same time making sure that you have time for fun and pleasure too. This is not a time to speculate on the stock markets or property market, but rather a time to conserve what you have. It could be a good time to solidify an entrepreneurial venture that you have been working on for some time. It can indicate increased responsibilities with children or young people.

The 6th House represents health, work, service, comfort in routines, and finding order in the details. This transit might bring about forced lifestyle changes and changes in your health habits, your diet, exercise, how you work. You may have to take on the role of being of service to other people. It could be a time for you to set clear boundaries in relation to the people with whom you work. If there is a tendency for you to take on too much, you can expect to be extra-burdened during this transit. The key will be for you to learn to say no. It’s an important time to take care of your health and if there are any issues to get them seen to as soon as possible.

The 7th House represents partnerships and all your one-to-one relationships, committed relationships, and known enemies. Forced or long-awaited and much needed changes to relationships -- equality, cooperations, compromises, agreements, how we relate to others, how they relate to us -- might be issues that come up now. Long-term ties that have been significant in the past may be severed during this transit. If you are in a relationship, it will be sorely tested during this transit. If your relationship is solid, then once the transit is over, you will come out of it stronger and more together than ever. If however, your relationship is unbalanced and not nourishing, you may well separate.

The 8th House represents sex and shared resources or finances. On the psychological level, it represents power struggles within your own psychological makeup and your ability to embrace the darker version of yourself without it overpowering you. On a spiritual level, it represents transformation and regeneration -- the need for something to die in order for a rebirth to occur. The transit of Saturn through the 8th house can be very difficult but also very empowering as it requires endings and cutting off ties. What you have to give up and completely let go of depends upon the sign that Saturn is in and whether or not Saturn is aligned to any of your natal planets. This transit can result in financial loss in a partnership activity or with a banking institution. It’s a time to be very careful with your finances.

The 9th House represents personal and spiritual growth through higher education, adventures, travel, and cultural influences. The pursuit for continuing education or higher learning and the challenges involved in actively pursuing them might be issues that surface during this transit. The 9th house also represents publishing so, if you've authored a novel, non-fiction, or poetry and have been dreaming of having it published, then that dream may manifest during this transit. It’s a time for hard work connected with your education and learning. You may find that you have to travel on business.

The 10th House represents your professional pursuits, your long-term goals, and your public reputation. If you have been focusing on your career for some time, you will find that much comes to fruition during this transit. If you have not been focusing on a particular career, you may find that you change career altogether and start fresh. You may cut down the hours you work and focus on something that is more of an avocation to you. You may redefine your long-term goals. Your interactions with your superiors or those in authority may be challenged now. The need to establish or re-establish your public reputation might also be highlighted now.

The 11th House represents friendships and associations; your personal view of world, its state, and its varied societies; humanity as a whole and your place in it, as well as your collaborative responsibility to it. Existing friendships undergo changes that can either strengthen bonds or can end these connections altogether. New friendships may be created during this transit. You may find that you become more aware of the global situation and your beliefs and ideals change dramatically during this period. It’s also a great time to put some flesh on the visions that you have held and to set clear goals for the future. You may find that you take on some responsibilities in your community.

The 12th House, is the house of the subconscious, solitude, spiritual consciousness, secrets (ours and those kept from us), hidden enemies, and it represents institutions like hospitals and prisons. A Saturn transit through the 12th house requires a period of "aloneness" in order to "recharge your batteries" and sort through issues that are being presented subconsciously and psychologically to you. The most effective way to process the transit through this house is to surrender ... to give in to the much needed spiritual healing offered. You will find that clarity will follow. It’s a time when you might feel quite isolated and unable to connect deeply with others – this is because you have inner work to be done that can only be done in quiet moments when you are alone.

The Cardinal Climax – What Lies Ahead In The Next Year

We are coming up to what might be the most powerful astrological alignment of our lifetime: the Cardinal Climax.

It is similar to what happened in the 1930’s, only the aspects today are even closer. It’s happening in Cardinal signs, which means there will be new beginnings. Each Cardinal sign: Cancer, Capricorn, Aries and Libra heralds a new season, so they always initiate a change.

There are four slow moving planets involved in this configuration:
Pluto, the slowest planet, is about transformation, birth, death and ultimate renewal. Uranus which is about awakening and revolution and sudden change, Jupiter which is about expansion, new beginnings and hope, and Saturn which doggedly holds onto the old and resists the new at all costs. We are seeing the rigidity of Saturn in many areas, particularly political parties that want to keep things as they are just for the hell of it and are resisting change. This is happening with Congress right now as the Republicans are resisting Obama’s health reforms.

The year ahead, until March 2011 is peppered with huge astrological aspects from Saturn opposing Uranus, Jupiter opposing Saturn, Jupiter square to Pluto…the list goes on. What does it all mean? Mother Earth needs to cleanse herself and she is shifting. We’ve had three earthquakes in the last few months alone: Haiti, Chile, Turkey. There will be more changes ahead. You will need to trust your intuition. If you intuitively feel as though you should move from where you are living, trust your intuition. Even if people around you think you have gone crazy, it’s not worth taking a chance.

Early August 2010 is the peak of this aspect structure, but we are already feeling it and the energies of this are with us until at least the end of 2011.

There are also two lunar eclipses taking place around this cardinal climax:
June 26th there is a lunar eclipse at 4 degrees Capricorn for the Moon and 4 degrees Cancer for the Sun. This creates a grand cross with the T square of Pluto, Uranus and Saturn and it’s likely we will see some really crazy happenings around that time.

Another date to watch out for is December 21st when there is another lunar eclipse with the Moon at 29 degrees Gemini and the Sun at 29 degrees Sagittarius. Again, almost in cardinal signs, so it will have a serious effect.

Finally there is a full moon in Aries at 0 degrees with the Sun at 0 degrees Libra on September 23rd. I anticipate that this will be an intense time as well.

Overall, I think that these aspects will result in a complete paradigm shift on our planet. We are not going to be able to push our planet for more and more resources, more and more growth at the expense of the life of the earth. We will see that we are not about continual growth and having lots and lots of stuff. We are moving towards what I hope will be a kinder, more compassionate and heartfelt feeling towards one another and the ability to live on much less.

I am noticing that children born today are more spiritually open than ever before.

It’s time for us to start living in the way that we think the world ought to be. Don’t wait for the changes to happen, you live that change. Follow your intuition, allow yourself to be guided. We don’t need the outside authority any more, it’s up to us. Despite these huge changes, this is a very exciting time to be alive!

Pluto In Capricorn - An Issue Of Life And Death

Pluto is ruled by Scorpio and therefore signifies destruction, transformation and renewal. It also pertains to life and death issues. Capricorn rules aging, the skeleton and death. We will see a greater focus on assisted suicide, the medical profession and their use of drugs, people wanting to know more about death, reincarnation and what happens to us when we die. Indeed in my own life, I have had a number of clients who have recently committed suicide, others who have died suddenly.

I have other clients who are dealing with medical malpractice issues that have led to possibly unnecessary deaths. For example, doctors are giving out drugs with severe side-effects and are not recommending to patients that they do not drive whilst taking these drugs. A sister of a client of mine was killed in a car accident by someone who had repeatedly gone to his doctor with dizzy spells. This person probably should not have been driving as he was on drugs that can alter his mental state. We are going to see more and more cases like this coming up, and more and more cover ups by the medical profession and the drug companies. As a result, we will see new laws emerging that attempt to protect the public from these tragedies.

More and more scientists are researching the area of death, cryogenics and how to extend the lifespan. Do we really need to age? Can all our cells renew themselves? There will be an increased focus on longevity and the possibility of physical immortality.

Capricorn rules ancient knowledge and wisdom and with 2012 coming, there is a huge focus on the Mayan prophecies, the Hopis, the Waitaha tribe from New Zealand and this interest is going to grow exponentially. We will be examining ancient wisdom that was developed and lost. With Pluto in Capricorn, we are unearthing these ancient philosophies and this is going to help us understand ourselves and our way forward.

Expect new healing techniques concerning bones as Capricorn rules the bones. We will find a cure for osteoporosis or brittle bones. Scientists will find a way for us to have a permanently youthful skeleton.

Capricorn rules time and Pluto rules life and death so we will be learning more about time than ever before. Our perception and understanding of time will change. We will be able to see that it is not just linear in nature, but has many dimensions. Our understanding of time will deepen and once this transit of Pluto in Capricorn is complete, we will have a totally new outlook on time, aging, life and death. We will not be subject to the same limitations that we experience today, we will have a broader perspective that will be liberating and empowering.
